After her class, Astrid managed to make it over to Turtle & Canary for her shift without incidient, which seemed to be a somewhat difficult thing lately, but, unfortunately, while she was relatively unscathed, the cheese panda had not been so lucky.

So if anyone wondered why there was a panda walking around the store, offering people mixed beverages and bottles of beer, it seemed that turn-about was fair play, and the cheese panda apparently thought he was Tino.

Astrid would have actually guessed Kyōraku-san if not for the distinct lack of sake in the offerings.

Which of course meant that she should be teased for the rest of her natural life.

But until anyone started doing that, she was getting in some practice with the remote, trying to apply what she could from Form VI while doing so, and trying to ignore that she still had one of those songs in her head.

There was a very strange uptick in gremlin-bite related calls today. For some reason.

"No," Liam was saying. "I can send some Troopers by to encourage them to scatter, but I can't actually arrest a-"

"You don't want me to? Then why did you call?"

"No, I can't actually arrest someone for being gremlin-bit either. Unless they actually did something illegal while under the influence." And even then, he'd probably honestly just bring them to a cell to let them sleep it off or something. "Deal with it."
