Zombie Yoko was definitely going to press her luck with her newfound passion on the stripper pole now that Kitty wasn't behind the bar and a hopefully more forgiving bartender was. Which was smart, really, because Summer definitely had way too much shit going on right now to worry about zombie strippers. In a way, actually, she was mildly fascinated and generally glad for the distraction, not to mention the 'well, what did you expect?' of it all once the limbs started dropping.

But then Tino went over to help patch her back up....and then started offering advice.

That was when Summer decided it was definitely time to shut that down. Zombies on stripper pole? Fine, sure, you live your best afterlife, girl. But Tino? No. Absolutely not. Bridge too damn far. Even Summer had her standards. Sometimes.

It was almost a little bit sweet and endearing that Apu-san had brought over a bunch of bags and colorful tissue paper and all the little things they were putting together for their Pride giveaways and gift baskets with the intention of working on them with Shunsui. Entirely off the mark and wholly delusional, sure, but also sweet and endearing all the same.

"That's really more of Summer-chan's kind of thing, isn't it, Apu-san ♥?"

By that, of course, he'd meant the work aspect of it, not necessarily the Pride aspect, but on a strictly technical level, that was a bit true, too.

To pacify Apu, however, and to give himself grounds to make the argument that he did help with it some, he did lazily work his way through filling up a few of the bags....mostly enough to clear some space on the counter for sake.

Besides, they were also apparently celebrating Lobster Day, which meant he was a little more interested in texting a certain lobster-enthusiast to come participate.

So far, no takers, but that one did like to play coy.

Well. Irene loved nothing so much as a theme, did she? And this weekend was presenting her with quite an easy theme for a sex shop to follow.

So, the display window and front tables were stacked high with Pride-themed -- and, well, Pride-adjacent, shall we say -- toys and apparel.

And Irene herself? Why, where else would you expect to find her besides back at the counter, idly shopping for something colorful enough to wear this weekend. (She herself was not much one for rainbows on her person, but she did look lovely in the lesbian flag's shades of pink and magenta, so maybe that would do.)

The Perk Wednesday

After another eventful shenanigans round, Dwight headed to The Perk for some extra caffeine.

Sure. He had his own coffee back at the shop. But it was nothing compared to the delightful mixes the baristas could whip together... Even if they were a bit on the overly sweet side usually.

And so Dwight sat by one of the windows looking out at the people walking past, a large dark chocolate mocha coffee in hand.

The problem with stock like crystal balls, and East Coast humidity, was that they started showing DUST fairly easily.

But this was a magic store, and 'Yana wasn't going to stand on a step-stool and use a duster. This was what magic was for, right?
