Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [08/12].

With some new additions to some of the tanks at the back of the shelter in the form of blue crabs and lobsters, Sidon figured it was as good a time as any for another really good, thorough tank cleaning day, which everyone knew was one of his favorites. It was involved, it was damp, and it created some really good bonding time between himself and the fish and the other aquatically inclined animals here at Furnado. A bond he always felt was particularly important, being quite amphibious himself, and also to ensure them that neither he nor the cats had any intention of eating any of them any time soon.

The way the cats seemed to be stalking around in the shadows as if waiting for the perfect opportunity to pounce on a particularly forbidden feast, however, likely wasn't instilling a lot of confidence in his finned friends.

Furnado is open!

Magpie Emporium; Friday [08/12].

If Graham possessed any sort of context for this sort of thing, he'd realize that actually having pulled off three consecutive sessions of a D&D game without anyone having to cancel or not show up was practically a miracle of epic proportions. But, since he didn't, he was honestly feeling a little bad about having to miss last week on account of being a goose. Which, of course, meant that he was really hoping to make up for it this week.

He tried to get some stuff done around the shop, but, thankfully, there usually wasn't that much that needed doing, which was good, because he was definitely distracted, bouncing ideas off....himself, outloud, as he tried to tidy up the shelves or put some stock away or trying not to step on Saffron or Little Bot underfoot (there had been a few near misses there, although he half-wondered if Saffron was getting in his way on purpose more than a few times). But he had so many ideas and had figured out so many possibilities that he was getting excited just to get back into the game, which meant that the remainder of his shift was going to feel like it just draaaaagged on foreeever! UGH!

He wondered if he should look into some kind of time spell to help move Fridays along faster, but that did kind of feel like cheating, and, really, he wasn't that good at magic, he'd probably mess it up in a way that wound up making him an old man or something.

Although, if older him was a king...

Graham shook his head, and tried to reign his focus in on the here and now resolutely.

The men's bathroom was repaired! Eddie didn't know who did it, but it wasn't him, and for that he'd be eternally grateful. It still reeked of weed, but it was a bowling alley; you could only expect so much.

Trooper Station, Friday

Following Miss Smith's class, Watts made his way to the Trooper Station, where the Troopers were very busy, it seemed, with a deck of playing cards and a wastebasket.

"Swish!" declared Calvin, as yet another card sailed into the basket.

Apparently despite what some people might think the Troopers were actually excellent shots- so long as it involved throwing a small object into a wastepaper basket.

Watts was just going to leave them to it. He had more important things to think about, like tonight's double date.

Fix & Clean- Friday Afternoon

 So, the rabbit-sitting had gone surprisingly well.... right up until it hadn't, which had been the moment Amaya transformed back to her normal human size and shaped self. And while there had been a certain degree of awkwardness, even beyond the normal expected level for that sort of situation, the bigger issue, at least at the moment, was dealing with the sudden lack of a dresser.

So Dwight spent much of the morning sorting through the wood in the back storage room, selecting the pieces that would be best suited for a new dresser. He had them set up in the corner, ready to take to the work room to start measuring and cutting. But only after he took a break to enjoy the last of the iced coffee he had grabbed during his morning run.

The shop was open and Dwight was available! 

Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Last night had involved a lot of weird dreams again, and Rey was feeling a little off today. Not quite as off as she used to, and it worried her that she might have just gotten used to this. So it was an easy day of drills because she could do those in her sleep and not feel like she was pushing it.

Every once in a while BB-8 gave a low whistle of encouraging, and it was cute, if blatant pandering.

After class, Liz had decided to go for a walk since she was trying to be better about going for regular walks and she figured that since she hadn’t eaten anything in the class, she could go for a walk to the bakery and rest there for a while before she headed back to the store to finish up on her work for the week.

It had been a while since she had ordered a mint chocolate cake, so she decided to have one and took a seat at one of the tables, she was trying not to feel to uncomfortable about being out in public but it was something that she was still trying to get used to doing.
