The baskets awaiting the class that week with their mystery ingredients inside were perhaps leading to a very obvious
hint as to what was in store for everyone this time around, with a very distinct color blocking of green, white, and red that
might call up thoughts of a certain national flag
or inspire a particular
meme-related earworm.
(No, the music was not
actually playing, but you'd better believe that Summer had
thought about it).
"Welcome back," Stark said. "Hopefully this week's inspiration is a little less horrifying than last week's." There was always hope. "And hopefully there are no cupcakes with fish in them."
Goose. “Please don’t do that.”
That was not an invitation to serve jello with fish in it tomorrow either,
Summer. Wasn’t the pleading look Stark was giving everyone convincing enough?
“There aren’t any fish in our inspiration, at least,” he continued, narrowing his eye at the cloche covering today’s inspiring cupcake. “Or there weren’t earlier.” Stark didn’t exactly trust foods in cooking classes here to stay the way they were meant to after this summer’s cupcake workshops and he was noticeably relieved when removing the lid revealed the
tomato cupcake with basil frosting he was expecting. As relieved as he could be when faced with a savory sort of cupcake, anyway.
"No fish," Summer agreed, looking far too proud of herself with the reveal, "and not
just a cupcake this week, either, you guys."
Which was when the
pizza beer showed up. Stark just sighed at it. Heavily.
"So," she said, "with our tomato-basil cupcake and our pizza beer to inspire us, the
real challenge is going to be your creativity and your ability to avoid into the obvious traps that these ingredients will lead you to. Try to think of something different, and absolutely no pizzas. Too easy. You have
handwavey minutes; your time begins…now!"
