Teddy was doing the homework he should have gotten done over the weekend. He didn't think that returning to solidity and wanted to test it with the boyfriend was going to fly as an excuse with his teachers.

At this school, in his opinion, that kind of excuse should work, damn it.

Vaguely inspired by the confession yesterday (good Lord, there was actually a confession that wasn't El! Rosette felt she should have marked it on the calendar), Rosette was reading through a book about improving your pool game. She wondered if it would be difficult to get a pool table in the basement to practise some of this stuff. Not like she had anything better to do around here. Chrono'd already cleaned the windows about five times already today. They probably had the cleanest candlestick holders in the whole diocese.

Kaylee showed up at Empire Records and stood behind the counter, ready to help anyone who might need it. She couldn't wait for her shift to end, though. She was very excited to see the ship in the junkyard River told her about.

In honor of that occasion, she had various soundtracks from space related movies and tv shows playing. She really did enjoy the Strifenova Celestial soundtrack.

With his thin notebook sitting out, Shuichi hummed the new lyrics he'd come up with, trying to fit the words to a new tune and see if they'd fit together. So far, so good.

River had pulled the tarpaulin off the small ship and was busy examining it. The squirrels had done a surprisingly good job, but she didn't have the talent Kaylee have to know exactly what one could expect from any spaceship. She waited for the expert to arrive.
