Lana opened the bookstore on time and hoped that she wouldn't get caught in the weird weather on the way home.

Apu is setting up YET more displays of chocolates, stuffed animals, and flowers.

Jane?

Hiding in the back.

With a box of chocolates.

Those things are good.

Braca ripped his coat this morning on a loose nail. Thus, Braca is cold and unhappy when he opens up Town Hall.

Beware.

Chad had a lovely bunch of coconuts. Unfortunately, they were not all standing in a row. In fact, they were attacking. Somehow, they'd managed to find ways to get up on the counter and hurl themselves at Chad, although they never hit very hard, and it wasn't very painful, but it did start to get a little annoying after a while, but it ceased when Chad accidently stepped on one, crushing it into a coconut mess on the floor. The other coconuts thought he had intentionally crushed it, though, and stayed away from him after that, fearing the same fate.

It was a pain to clean up and coconut milk might stain his boots and these were his favourite pants, too, but the store did smell nice and tropical-ish and, besides, nothing could tarnish his mood today. Ted was solid again, and they'd spent the whole weekend making sure of it. It would take a lot more than violent coconuts to get him down.

Today's Mix: Sex Blurred Weekend ...No, Chad didn't care that a significant amount of them were probably inappropriate for the workplace.

Yesterday's prisoner was still safely locked up in her cell. For what the troopers cared, she could stay there.

((Please wait for Mel to tag in. Feel free to handwave being escorted to the cell.))

Leo is playing the game of life. With himself. He doesn't know who's winning.

Photo Hut is open.

Jeff, God of Biscuits was kind enough to open his doors to the town. There was free food on offer (well, free except where the school had paid for it all up front, but it was free for visitors) and plenty of tea, coffee, soda, milk and water to go around.

A banner was out front:

Welcome Fandom High School Board! Free Brunch 8:30am-11:30am. All welcome!

[OOC: No really, all welcome. Located in town so townies can join in on the fun.]

The familiar sound of the TARDIS materializing would have been a curious sound for people to hear, since there already was a TARDIS sitting in its usual spot. But now, there was a second one. Which, admittedly, was not all that confusing compared to the line of nine that once occupied the length down this bit of Apocalypse Avenue.

When it finished landing, out stepped a man in a hat, coat and an enormously long multi-colored scarf. He'd changed out of the mostly maroon outfit that had been his usual garb of recent times into his more classic style, and given Adric strict instruction that he shouldn't step foot out of the TARDIS, on pain of getting his toes stomped on repeatedly by an angry Alpha Centaurian. Not that it would actually happen, but the Doctor just wanted to put a little fear in the, not to mince words, annoying prat.

He then pulled out a yo-yo and began simply sending it up and down. He was quite concentrated in his efforts, as if he was studying something.

[ooc: Two, count them, two TARDISes for the price of one. Or something. Open for interaction!]

Luke's diner

Cameron was grateful to find that it had stopped raining meatballs. It meant less stains on his clothes as he made his way to the diner. It probably was better for business too if there wasn't any free food around.

((Open, but I will be spotty for a little while as there is some stuff I need to catch up with.))

Schrodinger opened up the Devil's Nest on Monday, smiling slightly.

The Joy Can had been... very interesting.

Especially the girl.

Jarod had his laptop open, and was applying for random jobs. Some of them sounded really interesting, and like they could be fun.

Hey, he couldn't stay in Fandom forever.

Considering how extremely cold it was outside, Fred decided to brew his own batch of Pepper Up Potion, as it might come in handy. Fred added the ingredients, but as it was so very unusually cold out, he decided to add a slightly more liberal amount of spice to the recipe than was totally necessary. He also added a hint of pumpkin, for flavor.

When the recipe was done, Fred tasted it, and stepped outside. It had worked! He was no longer cold outdoors! Then he burped... and a small jet of flame burst out of his mouth, singeing his eyebrows.

"Oh dear," said Fred.

[ooc: open to all! fyi, the mat is not out tonight--that would just be cruel and unusual, even to a doormat]

Byron walks into the Graveyard.

With a shovel.

And a large... Battery. Looking. Thing.

Time for a funeral.
