Annette was standing behind the counter, going over the new sheets of Easter stamps that had just come in. So cute, with little fluffy bunnies and ducks, and spring flowers of all colors. Not to mention the dozen or so different colored eggs. She was stacking these, putting them in some sort of order when she heard a commotion in the back.

"Gladys? Is that you?" She went to investigate.

Good thing she set out one of those little tap bells on the counter. She even stuck a note there that said, "Ring me!"

Turtle was realizing that her creative writing story reallllllly needed a lot of work and, with an impressive pile of candy, cookies, and sodas, got comfortable behind the counter to set to the task. She was very easily reaching the same level of sugar buzz that she had accomplished yesterday, which was making the second part of her story to be rather interesting.

Flying pink ponies were totally applicable for a real-world based murder mystery story. Totally.

Today's Squishy Flavors: Sugar, Salt, Red.

Turtle & Canary is open.

Tori opened up shop on her second work day in a row. Smiling to herself, she set up the refreshments for the customers and took a seat behind the counter. Tori turned on her mp3 player and hummed softly to herself as she studied her Conflict Management handouts.

[OOC: Won't be around until after 7PM EST, due to classes and tests. Pings will be extremely slowplayed until then.]

Steerpike was researching chemicals again. Inflammatory ones, this time.

There was an idea forming. Yessssss.

Photo Hut was open for business.

Giles was back pouring over his purchase orders again, trying to figure out if the error with the rabbit's feet was his fault and if so how to make sure it doesn't happen again. He didn't want a repeat, otherwise he might just end up sharing Anya's opinion of bunnies.

Not to mention what could happen if the same error occurred on an order of mummy hands. He shuddered at the thought.

The Magic Box was open.

The Silverodeon had walked out and was patiently waiting to go to church. Agatha had a wall to fix. So here she was, mixign concrete, with many little dingbots running around helping. A pair of parallel sheets of plywood were already in place to hold the concrete, and Agatha had descided that she was installign an air vent. It wasn't that she had no way to plug up an opening in the wall, nope. It was an air vent.

Millie came in to take over from Tori.  She was quite pleased with everyone working for her as they all seemed to be doing a wonderful job.  She made sure everything was in order, then puttered around with the lovely computer she had for inventory as she decided what she might want to order next.

Billy, eyes closed, held his katana in front of him, working through a kata. He tried to keep his breath even as he thought about certain...things he'd heard on the radio. And thoughts they dredged up.

His brow furrowed. He knew the radio distorted things, but it made sense. He'd scared Ami. He'd lied to her. And Setsuna seemed...well.

Somehow it all seemed to keep coming back around to his father and the mark his past had left on him.

With a grunt, he severed a branch from a nearby tree. Hopefully the therapy would help.

[for Anakin, but open]

Jarod had nothing to do at the moment and was finally over his hangover. The door and windows were open to let the fresh air in, and he was unloading the weekly supply order.

"Who ordered the extra pineapple juice? And mango and apricot nectar? And...is that guava?"

Tino snickered.

Jarod rolled his eyes and made a small sign:

TROPICAL DRINKS HALF PRICE

After Spy Tech, Parker studied for a while, then got hungry and headed into town. She was considering what to do the upcoming weekend-- maybe that road trip she kept threatening Jack with, if he was feeling better? Or something just with Weiss?

She sat down in a booth with a club sandwich, and considered her weekend options.

Down a bartender, it appeared Lucifer would have to fill in for a while before hiring someone new. So there was the former ruler of hell with an apron on over his three piece suit, jacket off of course.

It would be an interesting few weeks to say the least.

After cheerleading, Chad came in for his shift at Empire that he totally did not forget about, nuh-uh, and started by realphatizing all the CDs because he hadn't done that in a while and they were getting bad again. In the activity, he'd found one of his missing dinos (he'd wondered where triceratops had gone; would have never imagined her to be a fan of rap), and then went to lean (carefully) on the counter and flip through the music magazines, trying to think of what might be a good thing to do next on this whole 'doing things the right way' approach to his relationship with Teddy.

Today's Mix: Teddy. Duh. No, there was no Peter Gabriel. Shut up.

Edward stomped through the park, fully intending on destroying anything that wasn't wrought out of iron. He hopped a low fence and started to attack some budding pansies. He grumbled as he kicked at the flowers. If only the place wasn't so deserted. Then he'd have something more satisfying to wreck. Something like a face.

[ooc: Edward Hyde is back! And he isn't exactly skipping along and singing. If you're in the mood for a fight or a snit, (or at least an interesting reaction when provoked) look no further.]
