What an odd, depressing, flail worthy day. With the litany of calls received and sent today, it was no wonder that Setsuna nearly forgot that she had work today. Or that she was sipping from a bottle of sake in between orders. It was, however, surprisingly that she still had her phone with her. Alphonse hadn't called her back yet, and that had her worried and rather focused on the possibility of it ringing.

The Devil's Nest is open!

[[ ocd on it's way here! I'm here tonight, but gone for a brief half hour in just a little bit for a show. Yes, there is a thread if anyone wants to have fun with misdirected calls, as Setsuna will be answering her phone. ]]

Luke's Diner, Saturday

What was a dude to do when his girlfriend was off saving the world again?

That would be . . . mope.

A lot.

Sigh.

Luke's is open and a little harshed today, dudes and girl-dudes.

Café Fina, Saturday!

Today, the staff of Café Fina was humming a slightly different tune than usual. Instead of their usual upbeat, surprisingly modern musical tastes (given that the serving staff mostly hailed from a couple hundred years ago. Except the weasels, who hailed from the basement), they were all settling into something more... classical.

It might have something to do with the Music Festival and one of the guests from it.

Today's Specials Board reads:
We Hope You Like Beethoven!

Throughout the course of the day, the staff often found themselves thinking that the little piano in the corner would look far more complete if only it had a beagle dancing on top of it.

(OCD is here! Fina is open and manages somehow to be even more musical than usual!)

Barbossa was spinning around in his chair, eating an apple and filling a catalogue form to buy himself an undead monkey.

Parrots were so done, you see.

Finally he turned on the microphone. "This is Barbossa, it be some day o' the week, I be bored 'n ready t' offer ye advice. Especially if ye be a eunuch or into havin' sex wit' ferrets. Oh, yes, I be gettin' yer messages yesterday."

None of which mentioned either problem, but that had never stopped Barbossa before.

"I be playin' requests, too. Be botherin' me!"

Groovy Tunes, Saturday

Charlie opened Groovy Tunes and put her notebook to the side to play with the kittens. She wondered how Chad's new cat would get along with them, when he brought the kitten in. She also uneasily wondered about some of the weird phone calls she'd gotten the day before.

Groovy Tunes was open.

Alphonse was pleased to know that, before he came in for the day, that he was not getting anymore strange voicemails. Thankfully he was familiar with the last time this happened, so he decided not to touch his phone for the time being, and as for the messages...

Yeah, there was definitely a lot of facepalm-worthy mixups in there.

Alphonse came in by himself this week, unlike the last, which made setting up go by faster. Once he was done with that, he settled in behind the counter, picked up something to read, and then the entire world fell over from the shock.

[ ooc: i'll be gone in a little bit for a few hours, but will return come evening. fyi and stuff. ]

Ellen opened the bar to the tune of the zombie band muttering and whining at her. Not in words, since they couldn't talk, but attempting to hold some sort of conversation despite that important fact. She was slightly less than pleased.

[OOC: Not feeling well, so I'm going to go nap. Please mod Tino.]

Having listened to the radio, Roy had realised that something had definitely been up yesterday. Which made him wonder about some of the phonecalls he'd received and made. It was best not to dwell however and he'd had a pretty good evening. Sadly enough, paperwork didn't seem to vanish over night.

((His office door is open for anyone who wants to stop by!))

Coffee houses are a staple of the musical theatre. Especially for up-and-coming performers who haven't yet had their big break, which, of course, Sharpay expected any day now, seriously.

There were microphones and speakers set up, and an area off to the side that was screened off to serve as a dressing room and for quick costume changes. Ryan and Sharpay were just about ready for their set, and were hoping to have lots of adoring fans attend their performance.

(OOC: They're still around after the music festival, ready to wow you all with their stunning renditions of showtunes. Also open for your regular Perk-ly needs. Please wait for OCD is up! Have at it, peoplecakes!)

Now Showing:

Buccaneers of the Sea Not Entirely Unlike the Caribbean: End of the Earth

In this explosive Trilogy finale, the Buccaneers face their greatest challenge yet with even more characters than ever before.

John led Abigail up to the theater, checking out the marquee.  "I hope you've seen the first two, or this might spoil you for them," he said with a grin.

[ooc: Film is obviously  Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.  Thread between John and Abigail locked to them, but okay for broadcast.  Theater is here for all your viewing needs.]
