"Stop asking me!"

"She's a cat. She needs milk!"

"Milk isn't--"

"And that's final!"

Gunther didn't look like he agreed with that at all, but he couldn't get another word in as Jeff stomped towards the front desk and threw up the specials board.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Today's Specials:
Milkshakes!
Ask Gunther all about it
(sometimes he lies)

He crashed down behind the desk and folded over, completely ignoring Mary the Cat as Nana chased her through the lobby with gusto, knocking over various pieces of furniture, plants, and hotel staff on her way. She loved cats. She loved cats almost as much as she loved people. She just had to show them.

Two men were in a boat. They were wearing nametags identifying themselves as Pete and Repeat. Pete fell out of the boat. Who was left?

Two men were in a boat. They were wearing nametags identifying themselves as Pete and Repeat. Pete fell out of the boat. Who was left?

And so on. Each time Repeat was left alone in the boat, a rimshot sounded and Pete suddenly appeared on the boat as if nothing had happened. This kept up all morning until the boat finally tipped over near lunchtime and both men and the boat disappeared in the water.

[OOC: Like the chicken yesterday, these guys (and the mysterious and constant reappearances of Pete) are good to notice and attempt to interact with, but they will ignore you.]

There were no flying, singing blue hedgehogs in the church. There were certainly no goblins with goo guns. Gabriel was not stuck to the floor unable to move. Instead he was sitting on the altar with a nice cup of coffee, reading the last chapters of 'Millie goes to school'. It was a good day.

[The church is open]

Annette woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She was moody but so far has only argued with her cat, which probably lasted longer than it should have. Sadly, it gave her no gratification at all.

She dumped a bag of Red Hots into a bowl and set them on a counter with a note that read: MINE! She was not in a sharing mood today. She also set out the bell with a note that read: Once is enough. Do not test me!

Then she sauntered off to the back to find something to do. Maybe she could argue with Gladys. Probably wouldn't work but she could try. Annette just wanted to argue dammit.

The Post Office is open.

Tori set out the refreshments for the customers, arranging them in a crescent pattern. What? She was feeling a bit creative today.

Settling down behind the counter, Tori had taken a few practical joke books off the shelf and was currently flipping through them. Every once in a while, she'd jot something down.

It's reserach, really.

By the time Wilson had gotten home he'd had just enough time to notice that a certain Guardian was headed out towards the school with fire in his eyes.

Ut oh.

So after a quick shower, Wilson had gone about packing the picnic basket with cookies and fresh brewed tea. Lots of cookies, lots of tea. He'd then taken the basket and a blanket out to the park and while usually he would have settled on the park bench, he was just worn out enough three guesses why and the first two don't count that he decided instead to lay out on the blanket under the shade of a tree.

And wait.

[ooc: Open! As parks are open. Phale and Wilson's thread locked to them but other than that please feel free to come and get a cookie or use the park for your own needs! :)]

Yitzhak was behind the counter, looking longingly through a catalog of microphone stands.

The heavier, the better . . . for perfectly innocuous reasons. Honest.

Despite the fact that the kitchen staff was obviously cutting him a wide berth. They had no idea.

Luke's is open . . . and not threatening. At all.

It's been two weeks and Sean's much more relaxed about running the store. Especially as it seems to be doing well.

The big difference, though, was the Help Wanted signs in the front windows.

[Wait for the OCD is up!]

Aziraphale made short work of readying the club, writing up the specials, and putting the music on the jukebox. Then he settled on a stool behind the bar and poured himself a glass of the strongest Scotch Lucifer had in stock.

He figured he'd earned it today.

Today's Drink Specials:
Nutty Bitch
Winds of War martini
French Revolution

Dick had a headache when he came into Caritas on Tuesday night. Tino was only too willing to help a friend out. He handed Dick a bottle of pills and a beer.

"Are you sure I should be taking these with alcohol, dude?" he asked. "There's a sleepy eye on the bottle."

"That's not a sleepy eye." Tino said. "It's winking."

"Oh. I see. Thanks, dude." said Dick. He took two of the pills and washed them down with the beer.

Twenty minutes later Dick was asleep in the lounge and Tino was happily cleaning the bar without anyone annoying him.

[I'm going to be AFK most of the night so mod Tino please!]

Sam was still nervous about going with Dean to tell their dad about what Umbridge was doing. But the latest morning announcements had proven that she was getting even crazier, and if Umbridge tried anything to keep Zoe from coming back...well, Sam didn't really want to think about that. Dean had the idea to ask their dad to come and meet them away from the house, so they could talk without Zoe overhearing. Now, it was just a matter of waiting for him to show up.

[Dean, Sam, and John's thread is locked to them, but the post is open otherwise.]
