Ino showed up to work, frowning, and did her usual sweep and dusting of the store in record time before sitting back behind the desk and pulling out two notebooks. Today she was making lists. One of the lists was of weapons she wanted to ask Cable-san about. The other was done in point form and filled with various – painful - ways of getting back at Annette’s ex. Most of them weren’t plausible. That didn’t really bother her.

She was fairly bloodthirsty today, yes. She was also humming as she worked.

Today, Jeff was abusing his television privileges. He was abusing them a lot. In fact, he was abusing them thoroughly in the search for the modeling program with the least clothes that didn't have blokes in it.

In the process, he may have forgotten to set up the specials board.

This didn't matter much, as Nana had tackled it down to the ground, and was currently using it as a nesting ground.
Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

This morning Gabriel had spent a lot of money on a large box of donuts. That didn't stop him from quickly devouring the contents, perched on the altar with a cup of coffee.

[The church is open]

George Michael came to work and stood before the banana stand, staring at it in slack horror. Eddie was there, Eddie somehow managed to get inside the banana stand and get the lid off the chocolate pot. Eddie's beak was dipped in chocolate. Eddie was flapping his wings and making all sorts of seagull noises. George Michael wasn't liking the interpretation of said seagull noises.

"Get out of there! Come on!" He wished Uncle GOB was here. He had a way with birds.

Still the menu board was up and George Michael would do his best to fix anyone a banana, even if the chocolate was tainted with bird beak.

Melody suddenly noticed her entire floor was covered in kitten fur, and it wasn't the comfiest area rug.

So today, the rock star was cleaning her shop.

Groovy Tunes was open.

This was a good day for climbing trees. This wasn't something she had done in a long time, and to be honest, the idea had only struck her when walking past a particularly inviting one in the park. Still, it was a good idea, and now River was sitting on a branch, back against the trunk and her feet dangling, while drinking coffee and eating an apple. Looking up at the sky she saw the birds circling, and that made her smile. Definitely a good day for climbing trees.

A very distracted Blackheart wandered his way into Pixie Dust a few hours late, today.

It was entirely possible that he'd been paranoid about the whereabouts of the mystery Ghost Rider ever since they fought it out on the roof the weekend of the 20-year reunion.

Blackheart was so paranoid, in fact, that he neglected to turn on the sign today and hunkered down behind the counter, raiding the pixie's stash of booze. Booze was important, really. And far less bothersome than Ghost Riders.

Jack opened up the Photo Hut, and saw the presents left behind by Leo.

He's gonna miss that guy.

Giles was in a slightly better mood today, feeling like he was getting back into the routine here in Fandom. As weird as the place was, it was currently far easier to deal with -- even with having Faith as a neighbour -- than the situation back in Sunnydale.

He hadn't even called since he had left and while part of him thought he should, just to check in, a larger part of him just didn't want to deal with it all. Not yet.

So instead, he worked on moving some of the inventory around and planning out a holiday sale.

The Magic Box was open.

Things were slow and Sean was sitting at one of the registers.

You could accuse him of many things, but not participating in his business was definitely not one of them.

There was ice cream to be had today.

Sure it was kinda cold and not very nice out, but that just made the ice cream even better!

Really.

"Chocolate or sherbet?" He asked Haku.

[[OOC: Open, but Teddy is here for a certain ninja]]

Peter had come out here to work on his editorial for tomorrow's paper. He had no clue what he was going to write about so he looked for inspiration in the cool air.

He didn't expect for his spider-sense to go off while he was writing, though. It was a light buzzing, nothing too dangerous, but still surprising since it came out of nowhere. He decided to approach the pond cautiously, wondering what was going to be there. A monster? Evil duck? Scuba zombie? The joy would be in the discovery.

He stopped a few inches from the water and bent over. And then, faster than even he could dodge, a fish leaped out of the water and bit his left arm. He pulled the fish off quickly but that didn't stop the weird feeling he had. It was like his arm was growing, changing. He stared in horror as he realized that his arm had become a giant fish.

He decided then and there that he wasn't going to write about his fisharm.

[OOC: Peter's arm is now a giant fish. He can grip things with the fish's mouth and there may be other surprises.

Post is open if anyone wants to WTF at the fisharm.]

Naminé was still thinking about her art project as she opened Café Fina on Tuesday.

ART IS WHAT DEFINES US
And how we define ourselves
Artists get free dessert today
(And everyone's an artist)

One of Naminé's very favorite things about working here was that no one objected to her saying things like that on the Specials Board.

Café Fina was open.

There were teenagers in the cells that morning. Not something Roy had a whole lot of experience with. Not in this way anyway and honestly, besides dealing with Fullmetal he'd never much had the desire to deal expand said experience. Hopefully a night in the cell would be enough of a lesson.

Dick arrived to work on time but it took him about a half hour to take off his hat, scarf, coat, gloves and sweatshirt. By then Tino had gotten all the work done. Dick really, really hated winter.

Caritas was open.

Liz came in to the Post Office on time and set up for her shift.
