Post Office, Friday
Friday, December 7th, 2007 01:18 amAfter Sokka had come in and gotten set up -- spiffy postal hat, check; stamps, check; "please ring bell for service" bell, check -- he found himself with nothing to do. Again. So he lay down behind the counter and took a nap.
He was woken by a low rumbling coming from the back room. He went to investigate, and found -- to his complete and utter surprise, of course -- that the weird noises were coming from the Sorting Engine. Sokka shrugged and let out a sigh, and, as if on cue, the Engine coughed out a flurry of envelopes.
The envelopes were all identical -- they all said "DEAR Current Resident, YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE WON 1 MILLION DOLLARS!!!" across the front. Grinning, Sokka set to opening them and trying to follow the overly complex instructions to fill them all out and mail them back in.
