Karal was early, of course, sitting on one of the couches, sipping tea and trying not to be nervous. He was slightly concerned that, having handwavily called Evey, invited her to come out with him, in the evening, and to the Perk, she might think he meant this to be a date.

Which he didn't. But she might think it was, and he hadn't been very clear and...Sunlord. Drinking more tea was definitely in order.

[ooc: Karal's here to meet Evey, but open for all your perkly or nervous priest needs.]

Michael arrived bright and early and opened up the diner.

He was determined not to lose this job.

Mary was in a really, really good mood, even if her boyfriend was going away for a few days. Her good mood probably had something to do with extra special good-bye she had given him, but her lips were sealed on that matter.

She walked into the kitchen, thinking of asking Gunther to put together a picnic basket for her to take to the park, when she noticed Gunther and his sous chef devouring bags of chocolate chips. "What's going on?" she asked. Gunther whined about how he felt so unappreciated while the sous chef cried about how no one even knew his name.

[I'm AFK until 2 PM today and then around after that.]

Yesterday's weather had worried Willow, but according to the weather report Saturday was warmer and so far snow-free.

Willow got to the Park early so she could set up. She cleared a space for dancing, set up music and some food that she'd brought along, then waited for others to show up.

[ooc: OCD a-coming Up! All are welcome. 'tis very informal in nature. And this only takes up a small part of the Park, so plenty of room for others to do Parky things without being crowded.]

D'Argo had two problems.

The first problem was that while trying to hunt down junk food- any junk food at this point- he'd somehow managed to stumble across a copy of The Journal, left by the previous renter. And for whatever stupid reason, he'd watched it. And ended up bawling like a baby through the whole thing.

The second problem was that the zombie band tonight was very keen on playing slow, sad songs, and somehow the zombies didn't care how much you yelled at them if your eyes were welling up.

Roy wasn't entirely sure what had happened when he got to the station that morning. Ralph had thrown a hissy fit at him, dumped a huge stack of paperwork in Roy's arms and then stomped off muttering about being unappreciated as he disappeared into the rec room for a chocolate binge.

Roy sighed when he made it into his office and placed the stack beside another stack. The paperwork seemed overwhelming for a moment and it wasn't fair that he always got stuck with it. Ralph didn't understand how much doing this kind of work depressed him. He couldn't go out and enjoy himself or do more important things and then his wrist would hurt.

He collapsed in his chair which felt more uncomfortable than it usually did and he poked at the file still lying open on his desk. Paperwork was so lonely too.

There's a counter, there's guy, there's a Guy With Tools sign.

Yes, there's a box of chocolate-frosted doughnuts. No, that's not significant of anything. He's just Xander. Who in fact is kind of a whistling, grinning guy, now that a certain other guy is back in town.

Bridge is actually in quite a good mood as he bounces in to the ice cream parlor with Z in tow. Ordering himself a concoction involving peanut butter ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup, he finds a booth for the two of them and flops down. "I don't think I've ever actually been in here," he admits.

For once, Mel would have preferred to be back in the dorms but for some reason most of the men seem to be rather... uptight.

So instead she was patrolling like a good little slayer should.

"Here lurky, lurky, lurky."
