Serenity Cove, wee hours Sat-into Sun early morning
Sunday, August 24th, 2008 11:50 amHe hadn't been able to sleep. Numerous attempts had just resulted in him getting back up and pacing the room.
It had made Houston agitated to watch him stalking about the room, muttering to himself. Finally, he whined just a little, knowing that something was wrong.
Murdock had stopped and glanced down at the dog. "Yah," he whispered, "You're right." Wasting little time, he dressed and headed out, not wanting his continued restlessness to possibly disturb his housemates.
He walked through the streets of town, Houston alongside until he reached the cove. There he picked a rock to sit on and tried to think, but not having much success. Houston sat next to him, his head in Murdock's lap as he absently scritched the dog.
His mind wasn't any clearer as the sun rose, alternating between concern and worry, to anger. But not certain what to do about either. Maybe if he stayed here a bit longer, the answers would come to him.
(open sure! that is of course, if your pup is insane enough to be up at such unholy hours. *g*)
