End of the Causeway, Sunday Early Afternoon

Even with the sun out, it was still fairly chilly on the causeway, creating a brisk reminder of what everyone would be leaving behind for the next week as they traveled through the Caribbean.

As the students, teachers, and guests gathered to wait for the portal to Florida, everyone was given a copy of their lodging information and a trip itinerary to peruse:

Sunday: Portal to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (Ship departs 5:00PM)
Monday: Princess Cays, Bahamas (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Tuesday: At Sea
Wednesday: St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Thursday: St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Friday: Grand Turk (Docked 9AM - 5PM)
Saturday: At Sea
Sunday: Portal back from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (Portal opens 7AM)

It was break, yes, but Firekeeper and Blind Seer weren't going on the trip. And so, instead, they were here at work as usual. As she went about the usual chores, Firekeeper couldn't help but worry about the the message Tahiri had left, and then feel annoyed with herself for worrying. It was such a human thing to do, and Tahiri was completely capable of taking care of herself.

His bags were packed and Biff was already getting in the mood for being on a week long cruise (although he hoped they'd stay within sight of the shore. If the Lord had wanted people to be on the water, they would've been fitted with rigging and sails) by wearing a brightly colored Hawaiian shirt and a pair of sunglasses.

The Arms was open!

Things Reborn, Sunday

Ben set up a display in the store with the sign: "LAST MINUTE CRUISE WEAR: 20% OFF!"

Between some of the goofy-looking Hawaiian shirts, the vintage swimwear that was still on display in the window, and the like, Things Reborn was pretty well stocked for people going on the trip.

And tomorrow, Ben would need to take all of this stuff down because it was still February out here.

Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

Tino was, for some reason, dressed in a tux tonight. He expressed disappointment to Jolee that he didn't have a red carpet to walk around on, but that he would still like to thank Jolee, the zombies, all of the customers who have supported him through the years, God, his parents...

And he kept on going until Jolee gave the band the cue to start the music.

True, there was a cruise coming up and a goodly portion of the island residents would be gone, but G'Kar felt that someone needed to stay behind and mind the ship as it were.

All was quiet on the Fandom front, as could probably be expected in the wake of a massive, temporary exodus of about half the island's population. Daisy already felt as if there just weren't enough people in this town; it was especially notable now.

And it was also pretty boring, too. She told herself not to let it get to her, because when you started to get bored was when things started to go wrong, but she was fighting off the urge to just start working at the computer to put together a program that could generate a limerick or some haikus for her.
