Worf arrived at work early today and made sure everything was in proper order before assuming his station behind the counter.

He stood at attention and focused his glare at the door in an effort to keep out any troublesome customers.

It was a rather quiet day at T&C, G'Kar was set up behind the counter with an espresso, writing in his journal. All these thoughts and observations however, had little meaning without insight into the people themselves.

G'Kar was simply going to have to get out more.

Perhaps once his shift was over.

True to her word on radio, Turtle was having a very special sale today on dictionaries and Cheetos, forty percent off, fifty percent if you got both of them together. As she made the sign and put it up, she frowned thoughtfully in consideration of the odd sale and wondered exactly why she was putting Cheetos and dictionaries on sale, but she shrugged and went with it. If it came from the chaos that was radio reporting, it had to be a good thing, right?

And may book enthusiasts rue the day, as a thousand dictionary pages were likely to be stained with orange cheesy thumbprints.

Glinda had decided that normal coffee wasn't going to cut it this morning. No, today was a caramel-mocha latte kind of morning. So she made her way to the Perk, ordered a large cup, and sat down outside with her lesson plan for this Friday.

It was then that she heard... them.

"Auch, ye daftie, what do ye think ye doing? There's a bigjob, right there. Get back o'er here!"

"There ain't no ships here! What are we s'posed to steal, Ben?"

"Aw, quit ye crybabying. I'm the big man, I'll figure something out. Now get yeself back here before- oh crivens, she's looking at us!"

Yes, Glinda was now staring at a group of five blue men, all in skirts. As quickly as she noticed them, though, they vanished.

And, after a moment of blinking, she noted they hadn't gone empty-handed.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB!"

Open, but there will be SP. The Feegles are here!

For once, Ender was abusing Stark's audio systems - for the value of abusing that he was capable of, which amounted to putting it on a low volume and letting it play whatever it pleased. For some reason, he had a need for the background noise.

He was messing with the arc reactor again (of course in between checking for emails), thinking about star drives and the improvements that were being made back home. Maybe...

Another Monday morning, and Daisy came in early to take care of a few things, as well as settle everything to make sure there were the two different pots of coffee running and stealthily putting the donuts Ralph had brought in into a cupboard somewhere so that they were still technically there if anyone wanted some, they just weren't out in the open. And replaced with a nice bowl of fruits.

After all, providing coffee for cops was a great service to justice for all of mankind, and it was a great service to justice to keep her coworkers from the temptation of too many sweets.

No, coffee that could potentially burn a hole in cement was not antithetical to her healthy eating theory. Coffee that could potentially burn a hole in cement was a necessity.

With that (and an apple to counteract the coffee), she settled at her desk to attend to her paperwork and transcribe the weekend radios.

The new furniture that Rachel had ordered should be coming in later today, tomorrow at the latest, so that just meant that the old furniture would have to go until she decided exactly what to do with it. She figured she could sell it to that second hand shop, but she wasn't quite ready to let it go yet. You never knew when you might need extra furniture; who knew, after all, what those tenants of hers got into?

So the door of the HoloSuite was open, since she still didn't understand any use for the room except for as storage and she, in jeans and a t-shirt, contemplated the furniture and how they needed to get from point A to point B.

"All this furniture!" she announced. "If only I had some strong and kind person to help me with talking it all the way over to the storage room!"

She paused, waiting for the request to be granted.

Unfortunately, she was impatient, so when some help didn't immediately materialize, she sighed heavily. Well, if wishes were cattle, they'd all be eating steak, and if you wanted something done right, you had to do it yourself, anyway. Begrudgingly, Rachel confided in herself that the strongest individuals also had the heaviest weights on their hands, then she crouched down to loop her fingers under the bottom of a chair and heaved.

She got the chair about an inch before she stopped, let out a breath, and wiped her forehead. "Hoooo. Time for a break."

She plopped into the chair and thought about she could use some lemonade.

This was going to be a very long process.

Alex opened up the shop a little early, giving her a chance to re-arrange and check out the array of books in stock. Trying to decide which was to start with was a bit of a challenge.

Yeah, this was going to take a while.

As far as Mondays at Town Hall went, today was actually peaceful.

Cable was going to choose to take that as a good thing, put himself to work, and maybe get some paperwork done before Jan chewed it all apart.

He was almost marginally succesful. At least the bitemarks weren't sizable, and only one sock got thrown.

Claire was still getting used to this 'working Mondays' thing, but she showed up and decided to dust and vacuum the shop today.

No particular reason, it just felt like a cleaning kind of day.

Vince was wearing a poncho and a sombrero.

He was positively ecstatic, dancing about as he took care of the animals and all his other various duties. It was odd... he was so happy, he was actually working.

But then again, it was impossible to be unhappy in a poncho.

Castiel didn't really own a great deal. The church, on the other hand, did, and what few possessions Castiel had were stored in the church, and as such, could quite easily be mistaken for church property.

Which for those in the know, might explain why it was that when Castiel went to retrieve one of the Supernatural novels he'd picked up last week, he discovered that several of them were missing.

This would not do. It would not do at all. If those books got into the wrong hands, it could do untold damage to the effort to prevent the apocalypse. Maybe. He thought.

Either way, he had to find them. The culprit had managed to nab Castiel's favorite one.

He began to search the church for clues.

Happy obscure Christian holiday Day!

Said the sign in the window.

Oz himself was a bit distracted by the pictures on the packages for the womens' costumes. When had Halloween Costumes gotten so sexy?

Chuck was at the bar tonight and he was currently talking to Tino about the VMA's last night. This mostly consisted of talking about how Lady Gaga was a freak of nature, even if her music was awesome, and how Kanye, whose music was also awesome, was a douche for what he did. Taylor Swift was a squinty eyed rat-girl but she certainly didn't deserve that.

Look what Chuck is reduced to do for entertainment when there's nothing going on in town. It's sad. He's like a sixteen year old girl.

Jack headed down to the docks a little late, and set up his hand-lettered sign:

Captain Jack's Wild Ride

Boating... in style

He opened his tacklebox and began the detailed analysis of whether to use bait or lures to not catch any fish with, but his well-trained ears caught the sounds of Scottish strangers doing something unseemly in the boat's cabin.

"Hup! Hup! Hup! Cosh i' good, aye? Yin! Ton! TETRA! Ach! Are ye Feegles 'r no? Agin! Wi' FEELIN'!"

Jack wasn't sure what to expect when he burst into the cabin -- the damn island could throw out just about anything -- but of all the possibilities, he certainly WASN'T expecting tiny blue leprechauns taking a battering ram to his big lockbox. The one he'd tucked under the cabin's bed. That had his weapons and gear in it. "Get away from me lucky charms!" he shouted, rushing forward to kick the little bastards.

Five minutes later he was tied to the bed and being given a barely-intelligible lecture on the difference between leprechauns and pictsies, while the main body of the swarm were sitting on the floor and grumbling at the lack of actual TREASURE in his treasure chest. And drinking all his beer.

"Can't we work this out? Come to some sort of understanding? Say, as regards to radical ideas like the concept of ownership? ...No? ...Could you at least let me have a beer?"
