Spock had a player who was made of fail bundled up Tuesday morning and hurried through the streets to get to his job at Stark Industries on time. He was not exactly thrilled about Earth winter thus far, but now fully understood why his mother had sent him another sweater in the mail. He was going to need it.

Stark Industries is open.

It was a quiet day, at least that was Hinata's mood—she couldn't rightly vouch for how the day would turn up right from the start, after all—and she was more than content to curl up in one of the chairs after setting out tea and making sure the store was tidy.

Yei prowled around and about her chair, every now and then coming up to make sure that Hinata hadn't gone anywhere before wandering off again. Hinata settled back with her book and smiled slightly.

Book Haven is Open.

Booored.

That was Ino, in a nutshell.

She'd resorted to doodling ever-increasingly complex and intricate flowers on her notebook in between rearranging flowers that were already displayed perfectly.

She sighed and resisted the urge to glance at the clock. How dare work be boring? Like, seriously.

Geeez.

Loki was almost sad to see the lights from Halloween come down but, being an angel and all, Christmas was one of those holidays that was almost mandatory to celebrate. So, in a fit of productivity, he'd started hanging up twinkling Christmas lights, giving the lobby a Christmas-y glow. He decided to hold off of the other decorations until after Thanksgiving but they were ready to go when the time came.

Loki hadn't ever really been that big a fan of the fucking holidays but sometimes, when you were stuck on a fucking island with jack all to do, you got used to doing normal things because it gave you something to do.

And Christmas lights were kind of fucking nice.

Didi had decided to pretend the random pumpkin vines snaking up and down the aisles were Thanksgiving decorations. They weren't attacking; calling them part of the seasonal decor made her brain a happier place.

Just don't ask her about the rice paddy in the bicycle supplies section.

Turtle & Canary was open. Squishy flavors: Pumpkin Pie, Mincemeat, Red.

[OOC: Open shop. OCD is helping Apu weed and harvest the blueberries in the break room.]

The store really was no place for a child, but Raven had to work and she couldn't very well leave Ariela alone in her dorm room. So when she arrived at work, she fashioned a bed out of a faux-fur rug, and, well, that wasn't meant to be a rattle but it would do for now. There were surprisingly actually some diapers among the store's stock, but they were far too big for an infant. She really didn't want to know why.

'Dite's Decadent Delights was open.

While Mary waited at the front desk for a visitor, she dared to take another look at the Las Vegas newspapers. No, the gossip about Danny and Delinda and the stripper had not died down, even with Delinda giving an interview where she claimed that the stripper's story wasn't true at all.

Either way, it was going to make for a very interesting Thanksgiving -- if this year's get-together happened at all.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

If he could, Lion-o would have spent all day waiting in the Café Fina kitchen until their turkey was ready to eat. Unfortunately, Snarf chased him out of the kitchen and made him do his job before he could dig in.

Café Fina was open!

[And OCD free, because I just don't have the brainpower. SP after 6 PM.]

There were two sleeping droid babies laying on the mats at the gym.

And there was an exhausted Rose who was going to kick the ass of anyone who woke them up.

Geoffrey was going to go a little batty.

The guy from the hardware store was working on his stage, on his flies, his... what the hell was he doing over there? He was tempted to argue with the man, but he didn't want to put the significant discount for supplies in jeopardy.

Besides, he was doing this pro bono. He couldn't really complain. Even if he was pretty sure he was going to have a headache for the next week or so.

"All right, everyone, gather round!"

When Mildred came in to do her Tuesday cleaning, she cheerfully informed Castiel that something was "growling in the trees".

As she didn't seem terribly traumatized, Castiel could only assume that it wasn't anything too dangerous, so he took his time before going out into the graveyard to investigate, wings stretched and poised invisibly in response to the supposed threat.

There was indeed something growling in the trees. Emphasis on the was. As soon as Castiel was in jumping range, the thing -- which turned out to be a little, somewhat scraggly looking orange and black cat -- flung itself from the branches with a triumphant howl and landed on Castiel's head. It dug its claws in to Castiel's hair, twisting its body frantically about as it tried to find a good spot to start gnawing.

Castiel sighed and waited patiently for the creature to finish, then reached up to dislodge it.

The cat let out a horrified shriek the moment Castiel's hands came near, took another flying leap, leaving faint welts on Castiel's forehead, and took cover behind a tombstone.

And Castiel thought humans were weird.

[ooc: as open as you want it to be.]

Fiona was having a little trouble concentrating. Lately, everything had just felt... well, it'd felt mind-numbingly normal. As if there was something she was missing, something she should be doing.

Something that might be cooking off the island, back home. Eliot had told her that she was overreacting, that she just wasn't used to boring old normality like they'd had for 15 years of their lives.

She'd told him she'd call him tomorrow.

Ellie arrived at the stable, but she was not alone. Since it was her turn to take care of droid baby Sarah, she brought her along. At least the baby wasn't being too fussy. A crying droid baby would probably irritate the horses.

The Gig was open.

It didn't really matter whether there was a new sheriff or not in the office, Gibbs was doing his job and making sure that the ever flowing stacks of paperwork were taken care of one way or another.

He did however yell several times at Ralph for the proliferation of umbrellas that were stacked around the office.

"If it rains, you get wet," he snapped at him. "You're wearing armor for Christ's sake. What the hell is the matter with you?"

Ralph ended up turning off the microphone in his helmet so Gibbs wouldn't hear him muttering.

Bored at work. Somehow, Jonothon was bored at work. And in his boredom, he saw fit to poke through the racks of music once again, looking for something new and exciting to listen to.

And that was how he discovered the band, Furnaceface.

Why the bloody hell would anybody choose to call themselves Furnaceface? What sorts of tasteless, bloody insane individuals would...

He looked over the back of the album cover, trying to puzzle this out. Ah, of course. They were Canadian. That explained so very much.

Groovy Tunes was open. And Jono wasn't enjoying listening to Biff Bang Pow entirely too much, shut up.

[OOC: I shun the OCD. SHUN IT. Also, true story, I discovered this band much the same way as Jono did just yesterday, giggled like a psychotic idiot, and bought the CD. The owner of CD Heaven now thinks I am insane. She'd be right.]

Robin wasn't planning on cooking a damn thing on Thursday, but when she wandered into Caritas and saw Tino reading a cookbook, she had no other course of action but to confiscate it.

"You're supposed to be working, not reading," she said, rolling her eyes at him before cracking open the book to read about pumpkin pie.

[around 'til about 8:30 EST, mod Tino after!]
