Although William hadn't fought any of the mechanical spiders, he'd still ended up with a substantial collection of parts, which he was now sorting and catalouging. Not that the store really needed scavenged parts, but William found them interesting, especially since his forays onto the mainland had revealed that their last locale had existed in a time rather close to to his own.

A strange but beautiful artifact had come into the shop earlier that day that left Alexander quite distracted and fascinated. Clearly, it seemed a piece from this new location of theirs, and there were a few more, as well, that seemed to really add a nice selection to the rare finds scattered throughout the store.

It certainly seemed they'd been picking up a lot of wonderful things this summer. Alexander inspected the artifacts with interest, hoping to reveal more about all the fascinating perspectives he'd discovered about astrology from his brief explorations of their newest city.

Mystery Sign Theatre 3000, Wednesday

Kate was a little thoughtful at work today. Nothing major, just various little things that had her getting distracted from checking the sell-by dates of the goods in the concession stand. Not that those really needed to be checked right now anyway, but it was something to do.

You know, if she'd had the focus to really need to be doing anything. Mostly she just ended up doodling idly into a notebook while she waited to see whether anyone would wander in to see the movie.

Lindsay was in a fairly good mood. Being in Atlantis helped. More accurately, the weather in Atlantis helped. Plus, there was the upcoming break from classes and a trip home to look forward to.

Despite the good mood, she chose a band full of drama and angst to listen to today: Fleetwood Mac. At least it was good music! She'd argue with anyone who disagreed.

Yeah, yeah, Nathan strolled in late to work tonight. Tino started to scowl but Nathan shut him up by shoving a rag into his mouth. It wasn't the nicest thing to do but Nathan hadn't had the nicest few days and he really didn't want to be lectured by some jock strap licking bartender.

The funny thing was that Tino actually kept the rag in his mouth for awhile. He just stared and glared at Nathan and pointed to the rag like he hadn't realized he could just pull it out himself. Yeah, Nathan was just going to laugh and mimic him. Tino was such a twat.

Jessica didn't arrive at the club until well after 9:00. "Yesterday was the first day of summer, wasn't it?" she bitched to no one in particular. "So that means the sun's gonna start settin' sooner, right?"

Stupid sunlight. It so wasn't her fault that she was stuck in her apartment until the sun went down.
