Sparkle was in a pretty good mood today as he opened shop.

Right up until he remembered why he had been in a not so great mood last Sunday.

"What do you mean my order is still unaccounted for?" A long pause. "Wait, what chemtrails?!"

This was his life now.

It was Sunday. Kanan needed caf. They didn't really have caf at Luke's, no, but if he brought his own bag in and snuck it into one of the coffee machines before hours, he could sure as hell brew some anyway.

And then empty the entire contents of the pot into an almost comically oversized mug.

And then clean the hell out of that pot so that nobody would suspect a thing. Even if most people who weren't from home seemed to be convinced that coffee and caf were basically indistinguishable. The monsters. He was so wrapped up in his whole Secret Caf venture that he'd barely noticed the cook setting up what looked like a whole spread of jams and jellies and compotes, sweet sauces and bowls of berries. Whipped cream...

Hera had no idea if 'new students' meant 'new people who might need spaceship parking' or even 'new people who might need a job', but just in case, she was opening the place up today. It was a nice enough day, and even the bitey bits were in a good mood as they scampered around.
