The Onsen; Thursday Afternoon [07/02].

The onsen was definitely one of those places that Shunsui really couldn't spend enough time, and so that afternoon, he figured it was as good an afternoon as any to head on over for a nice littel soak and sake.

At least one of those elements was not about to let him down.

Because as he breezed in with the usual incomprehensible flutter, he had to pause a moment and blink because the usual hot spring pools had been most definitely replaced with a series of kiddie pools scattered about where the larger hot spring should be.

"You know," he called lightly over his shoulder to the staff, "you all could have mentioned this when I came in..."

But he was here, so he figured he'd make the most of it, dragging a bench over to one of the kiddie pools so that he could sit while he dipped his toesies in and poured some sake, because he'd come all this way already, it would just be a shame to go right back without at least part of him enjoying a soak.

Furnado Animal Shelter;Thursday [07/02].

There was a stack of towels on a table near the door of the animal shelter today, because, boy, were people gonna need 'em if they came in. There were kiddie pools everywhere, and you'd better believe that the animals (well...not the cats; the cats were making it very clear that they did not approve of this tom fuckery one bit and, Wayne suspected, intentionally popping the one that were inflatable) were making the most of it. Which was when when it came to the amphibians and the turtles who were just enjoying the extra moistness and room to swim around, but there were a lot of puppies in this place, and, well...

...by the end of the day, Wayne was pretty sure there'd be more water on the floors than in the actual pools.

But they were having fun, so who was he to stop them? What kind of monster would try and stop puppies playing in pools, perfectly pert and partying per their perogative in a completely non-pernicious and palatable perception?

He was just going to sit back and enjoy the cute before it was time to clean up and dry 'em off.

It was a slow day today, and Sabine was trying to convince herself that being interim manager didn't mean that she could just go and paint the meditation room.

...Okay, she was trying to convince herself that her particular style was not fitting for something called a meditation room.

She was sketching it while sitting up front, though.

"This is a bad idea."

"Oh come on! Lots of restaurants do it!"

"Okay, first, no they don't. And second, even if they did, that would not make this a good idea."

"What could go wrong??"

"Gee, I don't know, the magically appearing kiddie pool could suddenly disappear again and there would just be loose lobsters everywhere?" Duke shook his head. "Why do I even have to explain this to you? You've been here forever!"

Ali pouted. "I still say it's a good idea."

Rey understood the concept of a kiddie pool, but she didn't know why she found one in her apartment.

Then there was the slow, very careful process of dragging it out through the hall and trying so hard not to spill anything on the way. She mostly managed! But really, what was she going do with it in her place? It wasn't even like she could empty it in there.

So, uh, there was going to be a kiddie pool outside the apartments, because she had no way of knowing that everyone got one.
