The Perk- Saturday

 Things were lowly coming together at the apartment and Rex even seemed to be settling down a bit more and adjusting to the new setup.  So, Connor wasnt too worried about leaving him at the apartment for a bit while he took care of a few errands around town.

And one of those oh so important stops on his list was a stop at The Perk for some caffeine. After thanking the barista and dropping a tip into the jar on the counter, Connor took his drink and found a spot by the window to sit and enjoy the morning with some people watching and tasty mocha goodness.

Tino, bored, was stacking martini glasses on the bar.

Jaye, bored, wasn't saying anything. He knew she wasn't going to help clean, but she did like watching spectacular failure.

Luke's Diner, Saturday

Miguel came in, looked at the diner, and left.

He came back in, in the vain hope that something would have changed. It had not.

"No."

"But -"

"I don't care. Take it outside."

The busboy groused, but complied. That was why there would be assorted handwavy tchotchkes outside with a sign reading "GARAGE SALE".

Miguel went to make the coffee.
