Of course Graham Cracker brought Cracker Graham with him to work that day! With the little dressed up graham cracker cradled in his hands, he gave his new bestie a tour of the entire store, introduced him to Saffron and Little Bot, had a near heart-attack in thinking that Saffron might actually try to eat Cracker Graham, or at least tear him apart because he was not very well constructed, but then set him up, hopefully safely, at the top of a dice tower on the counter before getting to work in earnest.

Which, to be fair, there wasn't a whole lot of work to do. He even came in expecting the bouncing dice to still be riled up from yesterday, but actually, they were no where to be found...

...which felt...ominous, and so he was ready, cautiously going around every turn and every shelf with the wariness of knowing they could strike at any moment!

So today was Curling is Cool Day, apparently, which meant that the freezer aisle had been converted into Apu's best attempts at a makeshift curling rink, and this was one that Prompto actually might have been a little sad he couldn't participate in more since he needed to stick around and man the register. Although the door did chime when opened, so maybe he could steal away and try it a little bit between customers?

Of course, considering how much of Apu's days were spent sweeping, the guy was insanely good at this, so it was definitely an experience! But he also gloated about it a lot, so Prompto was actually going to put most of his focus into setting up displays toward the front for Travel Necessities on sale for anyone looking to prep for the school trip next week.

Even the Troopers were in Vacation Mode today, which was odd considering they didn’t actually get to go on the school vacation.

Still, it wasn’t like there was much to do today, so Watts didn’t have any reason to complain about them not being busy.

There was a lot of hustlin' and bustlin' happening at Needful Things that Friday: shelves being dusted, random crap being cleared out, things getting generally organized better...

And Harley was sitting in a nice antique chair right outside the open door, bundled up in an extremely bright and fluffy fake fur coat with a steaming cup of takeaway coffee in hand, overseeing the whole thing. Work smarter not harder, right? So she'd done the smart thing and hired random NPC people off the street to do the hard stuff to get the store into a better and less sneeze inducing state.

She was looking pretty pleased with herself.

And occasionally wiggling her fingers at Bruce through the glass, as he was lounging in the window and eyeing the workers with curiosity.

It was warmer today, at least, though Stark would have enjoyed some sun instead of clouds and rain.

He was still going to sit by the window once he'd picked out some baked goods. There were no more pink and red heart-shaped things left and it was a little early for bright green ones. There were, however, some space-themed items available.

"FIgured they might sell well for people going on the trip. Or people not going on the trip. Or aliens," the guy behind the counter said with a grin. "Want some galaxy cookies? Or cupcakes? Or what about these cheesecake bars?"

Stark, being Stark, was going to try one of each. Obviously.

[Very open, of course, for all baked good and alien needs! It's a day off, I am around.]

The goose was making a nest.

On Travis's desk.

"What are you doing?!" Travis asked. He definitely wasn't flailing wildly at the goose. (He was absolutely flailing wildly at the goose.) "You don't live here! I live here! You do not get to live here!"

The goose ignored him completely.

"Probie!" Travis tried. "Can you tell this goose it doesn't live here?!"

Probie gave Travis a long, tired look.

Sorry, Trav. This was the goose's office now. You were lucky it was willing to share.

Rey didn't live at the warehouse, but the woodchucks did. (Presumably.) She knew they got up to plenty of stuff when she wasn't around.

She hadn't expected to walk in to a bunch of angry woodchucks that had gotten stuck in the zero-gravity part of the obstacle course and were currently swimming with rage in the air.

"How did you even do that?" Rey asked, going to turn off that control. Maybe one of the other woodchucks flipped that switch and ran?
