Late the previous evening, Manny had been seen walking through the streets of the town, sobbing quietly to himself. He didn't even have enough defocussed temporal perception to dodge the occasional pretty box of sweet cookies, flying through the air to concuss the unwary pedestrian. He arrived back at the shop, went to his room, and sat down at his drawing board. He worked through the night, through his tears.

Early on Tuesday morning, a new sign appears outside the shop. The lettering is beautiful.

Briscoe sat at his desk and reviewed the events of the last few days. So far they've had the Jersey mob move into town, a threatening flower delivery to a student, and a werewolf attack.

The first two were events that a New York Detective could relate to. The last one was a little out his league.

Yep. This town is going to have more problems and it's only going to get nuttier.

He types up a notice and runs it by Mike before posting it outside the department and placing an ad in the local newspaper.

Day two of a new business

Red opened his shop on time and bustled the cubs back up to his flat above the shop so they wouldn't be underfoot. He took a moment to straighten the mess the cubs made when 'helping' him last night and discovered a note left to him.

He flattened it and grinned, slipping it under his cash register with his membership for Bada Bing. The townspeople were really very nice.

Pulling out his sign, he went to hang it in the door again. He had hired Duce for henna artistry and general help, which he had needed but still had need for one or possibly two more people for the store as general clerks to help mind the register and merchandise.

Lots of work begins on an old building turning it into a Coroner's Office. Jordan oversees the sign being put up. She thinks she might need some help so she types up an add.

Jordan smooths out the sign and puts it in the window, hoping someone will apply. She obviously can't run a Coroner's Office all on her own, but then again she is Jordan, so she will try.

Krycek, having called ahead, goes down towards the junkyard and then turns to take the path over to the white ship that Han had said wasn't so big... Could have fooled him, really - it was larger than most of the ships he'd ever seen.

Reaching what looks like the entrance he glances about, wondering how to announce his presence. Krycek shrugs and knocks on the nearest part of the ship, hoping someone hears.
