Phone Fritz Friday
Friday, January 6th, 2006 03:56 amBeing the flash bastard he is, Crowley walks through town in the wee hours of the morning, his mobile held lightly in his hand. He hisses into it every ten yards. Tiring of the repetition, and the distinct similarity to an ad campaign, he snaps his fingers at the wires and router boxes, and of course at the bloody ugly cell phone tower that was woefully disguised as a tree. He smiled with satifaction at a job evilly well done, and retired to soak up the wafting frustration.

{{Entirely voluntary. If you make a call, it can go many ways, it's up to you. You can be routed to a person you didn't mean to call...including voice mails. Static and hissing can garble your message, making it sould like you're saying something else. Your calls can be dropped at any moment. They can just not connect. Have fun with the poor phone service, this will be in effect until Midnight FH time. Crowley's goal is for people to be frustrated, and take it out on one another, inanimate objectsand OMG New Students! This effects the town AND the school. I repeat, involvement in this is entirely voluntary and up to each player. Have some fun with it!}}

Red's Office Hours at Town Hall
Friday, January 6th, 2006 10:11 amRed finally emerged from beneath the paperwork that littered his counter at the shop. Ready to do some final organization, he picked up the phone to call Gladys at the office when someone answered...in a foreign language.
After a few minutes of going around and getting no understandable answer, or being able to give one, he hung up and tried again...only to talk to static.
"Perhaps a line is down," he said, looking at his cubs.
"Dada!" Pollux responded enthusiastically.
"I agree," Red nodded his head. "We should just walk to the office."
Gathering up his papers and a few toys for the cubs, he loaded up his wagon and the three set off for the Town Hall office.

Somewhere in Fandom, morning.
Friday, January 6th, 2006 10:19 amIn the empty space that had been Falcon's Landing until the Falcon had flown off for good was a bit of an oddity. A large intricately carved stone sarcophagus lay in the grass at a bit of a haphazard angle, one end sunk into the ground as if dropped by an impatient Wookie who hadn't been able to find the sarcophagus's owner. It had lain silent for the last three weeks, but now abruptly hissed as the lid slowly and dramatically opened. Eyes opened, flaring dramatically, and one could almost hear the low, ominous chords in the background as the inhabitant of the sarcophagus rose from his sleep, breathing the Fandom air, surveying - nothing.
"Well this isn't good."

Wolfram and Hart, Friday--OPEN
Friday, January 6th, 2006 10:34 amLilah sighed as she read her e-mail. Wesley had apparently left town and gone back to the Watchers. Ah, well. It's not like she wouldn't get her hands on the guy eventually. It did leave her short one legal intern, however. Not to mention the receptionist.
She was, however, surprised to find a message on her personal voicemail, since she didn't remember giving the number to anyone.
She leaned back in her chair and spent the rest of the morning figuring out when and where she'd known a guy named Marty, and why he wanted to work things out.
"Huh."
After some thought, Lilah remembered she worked for an evil law firm and they could do things like trace phone calls. She called the number back and left a message for the jerkwad and went back to work.
A bit later, she received this voicemail , traced the call again, and returned it .
Once Spike left, she made this call, to Druand it is currently screened. Obviously this place was worse than hell.
[ooc: Office is open for interaction, and Lilah would be happy to conduct interviews if someone (especially a newbie) needs a job.]

After a pleasant breakfast of toast and eggs again (although Aziraphale wonders if he ought to learn to cook something else) with Wilson, the angel had wandered back to the shop to check on things. Suspecting that the students would be very busy registering for classes, he'd spent the morning continuing with his cleaning project and reading about tropical fish. At some point in the afternoon, he'd decided to head down to the park as he and the doctor had agreed.
So now Aziraphale is sitting on his favorite bench, with a good view of the park, his shop, and the street leading toward the town clinic. He has a cup of tea and a thermos beside him on the bench, and he's crumbling up bits of day-old bread for thetotally not evil omg ducks gathered at his feet.

The Perky, around noon
Friday, January 6th, 2006 04:34 pmAfter signing up for his classes and chatting with Callisto, Jake decided it was time for coffee. He wandered down to the Perkolator, ordered a double mocha and settled down with his notebook.
ETA: He picks up his cell and checks his messages. Two seconds later he nearly spits coffee. He swallows quickly and leaves a reply.
ooc: open to all and sundry.

Park-ish. Afternoon-ish.
Friday, January 6th, 2006 04:48 pmJustin is wandering around town, he looks into a shop window here and there but then realizes he has no one to buy anything for anymore. A frown takes over his features for a small bit before it returns to a normal look as he takes a seat on a park bench, his hands stuffed into his jacket pockets.

The Duck Pond, Nightfall
Friday, January 6th, 2006 05:09 pmFaint trails of smoke rose from Drusilla's skin as she sat on the ground, staring emptily at the duck pond. She held Miss Edith close. He was gone. Spike was lost to her.
OOC: If you really feel the need to interact with Dru and/or Sunshine, post is open to all. :) I'm about to leave work, and will be back on in a couple of hours.

Spike's Pub is Open 01/06
Friday, January 6th, 2006 05:14 pmKadaj sat behind the bar, the aroma of pizza and fried onions filled the pub. He had the folder out and the papers spread out in front of him. Ownership papers.
He and his brothers owned the pub.
And he had no idea what to do. They didn't even have last names.
Sighing, he needed to figure out a way to tell his brothers about it. Loz would freak. Yazoo'd think it was fun to have one.
Whatever they did, they would need to get some help and not just in the pub. Tomorrow, Kadaj would go to find CJ. She'd know what to do.
In the meantime, he opened the pub, just like they have since they'd been in town and he would figure out what to do tomorrow.

In the park, in the dark...
Friday, January 6th, 2006 07:56 pmHe tosses bits of biscuits to the ducks...the only ones in town not feeling distress. The confusion, frustration, anger, and sexuality were palpable.
He'd even gottan a couple messages...he'd be sure to return Phoebe and Han's calls tomorrow. Smoking lazily, he basked in the rampant ill-will. H'ed better get a commendation for this.
