Michael flipped the sign from "closed" to "open" and began adjusting the Valentine's Day displays. Considering this town, he'd made sure there were enough cards that were appropriate for people to give to someone of the same gender. It was a day Michael needed to give more thought to on a personal level as well. The holiday was when he and Ben marked their anniversary, and they were hitting the ten-year mark. What to get his husband was a problem he'd have to solve.

A groupe of travelling, singing nuns takes over Our Lady of Craggy Island. Soulful 60's tunes, changed to be non-secular, impart the Word in a feel good way.

Kiki opens the bookstore, setting out tea and scones, and then curls up on the couch with a copy of Lysistrata and Jiji draped over her feet in such a manner that it looks impossible to be comfortable - and yet, he's sleeping peacefully, his face turned towards the warmth of the cheerful fire.

Ted was sitting out on the front lawn again in his deck chair. He was rugged up in several layers of clothing and a scarf and boonie hat and gloves. The sign for available rooms was still up.

Becky was in a cheery mood when she took her place behnd the desk.

She was humming, in fact.

What she was humming was probably kind of hard to tell, since "on-key" and "Becky" don't exactly go together.

It might have sounded an awful lot like, "Anchors Away," though.

She left her copy of Symposium at home and brought her laptop instead. With a latte and a giant muffin, when all else fails...use Sparknotes.
