Chaucer's - Open for Business Tuesday

Inara unlocks the door and turns the sign around to indicate that Chaucer's is open. Then she settles down behind the counter with a cup of tea to wait for customers, reading through a book of calligraphy styles.

With his forms slowly trickling back in, Red trotted to his office to get some administrative work accomplished, leaving the cubs at the flat so he could actually do that work - uninterrupted.

He nodded to Gladys and gave her a warm smile when she picked up her pad and followed behind him with his political itenirary for the coming weeks. There was much to be done.

The Emporium is open -- Wednesday

Michael opened the shop and settled down behind the counter with disc 2, season 1 of Gay as Blazes and his personal DVD player. TV show DVD sets were so addictive.

Drusilla came through the back entrance of Wolfram & Hart and started answering the phones. Her answers didn't make any sense, but she was, at least, answering the phones. Would she make sense if the Senior Partners called? Probably not.

The atmosphere of Ching Tai was both glitzy and elegant, like most Chinese restaurants. Tasteful paintings clashed with the vibrant decor, yet somehow the combination worked.

Not that Sara particularly cared whether or not things were a crime against fashion and/or nature.

She waited in a small booth, playing idly with a set of chopsticks.
