Lana got to the store early today. She'd woken up early also. She'd just been too excited about this afternoon's picnic with Jim to rest well. She got the store ready to open cheerfully and any one who wandered in just might catch her humming happily to herself.

Edmund was once again working on his adventure story novel. The brave butler had finished with the gypsies, left after being gifted with the honor of several of the most nubile - brilliant word, that - of the gypsy girls, and was on his way to regain the throne for his master. Of course, he would be the power behind the throne, and the king would be the one who needed a food taster.

"Yes, yes. Edmund faced the regiment and drew his sword.... Brilliant!" This was even better than the first edition of the book he'd written and Baldrick, curses on his family, had burned.

John opens the shop and goes back into the work area.

THere's a lot of noise. It's difficult to tell if it's someone working on something or someone venting a lot of anger.

The "Help Wanted" sign is still in the window and Emo and Goth are putting on a Drama-y version of Romeo and Juliet on the counter.

Selkie Cove: Friday Afternoon [9-8]

Lana led the way out to the Cove and stopped near her favorite rock. She pointed it out to Jim. "I like to sit up there. It's a great place to spread out a blanket and enjoy the sun and water and wind."

Our Lady of Fandom; Friday [ 09/08 ]

Sister Rosette had experienced far too many dull days in this place. She was trying to concieve of a special event that might, even if temporarily, inspire some people to come and keep her from being bored and polishing windows all day. From the small library of various religious texts found in the basement, she had found a collection of various religious holidays. She sat in a corner of the church behind the alter, legs spread and the massive volume on the floor between them, leaning over as she flipped through the pages to find one that might be coming.

Tomorrow, according to some fairy tradition, was apparantly Badger Scratching Day. Hmmmm, maybe they should skip that one...

She flipped a few more pages, but found herself going back, a dreadfully pensive look on her face.

Then again....

GOB had an idea. It was a great idea, he felt. And so he had Tino put together a sign and had Tino put the sign up outside. The sign read:
