John opens Sparky and makes a 'shush'ing gesture to the register. Goth and Emo are asleep in hte corner, curled up in matching hoodies. John leads the way into the back of the shop, past Agatha's stairs, to the veeeery back of the shop.

It came in across the causeway at a leisurely pace, one hoofed foot in front of the other, idly as though it wasn't terribly worried about where it went or why, so long as it was going somewhere.

In fact, it's footfalls seemed almost . . . weary. As though it had been traveling like this for some time.

It brought with it an onimous scent of dungbeetles and haggis, and something else.

Something sadder. Less defined.

It trod steadily over the streets of Fandom towards the park, looking for something to eat.

Teh Emoo had come to town.

[ooc: and here we go! As of Saturday morning, those who would like to participate shall be strangely, ridiculously emo as a result of the empathic waves put out by Teh Emoo. This effect is town-wide, though as I said, people can remain unaffected if they want. Commence the weekend of Emoo!]

Wilson woke feeling a bit blah. Nothing he could specifically put his finger on, he and Phale had enjoyed a night of pool and giving each other a hard not!dirty time about domestic chores. There had been a lot of laughing.

But this morning...Wilson felt kinda 'meh' so when Phale mentioned something about grading papers, Wilson kicked around the apartment, then packed up his own briefcase and headed down to the Perk for some coffee. Maybe a good triple strong latte would help.

And a muffin...cause muffins helped everything.

It took a couple of trips to get his quad latte and his muffin, since he was still struggling with things one handed but in short order he settled down in a chair with his extra tall caffiene concoction, muffin and some papers of his own to grade.

For some reason, he felt the need to sing John Denver's, "Leaving, On a Jet Plane" under his breath.

[ooc: Feel free to poke Wilson, he's not waiting for anyone particular I'm headed out for a bit will be back this evening Back! or use for your own caffiene needs!]

El was not, by nature, a particularly happy person. If he had to qualify, he would say he hadn't been really happy in years.

He had no idea why, though, he was letting all this grief getting to him. It had been years since they had all been taken from him...

Carolina....

Domino...

His daughter...

Buscemi...

Campo and Queno...

And Cesar, his own brother. His own brother, whom he killed.

What would his father have thought of him now? What had he done worthwhile with his life except kill, kill, and kill more? Kill everyone he judged to be bad and killed everyone around him he cared about. And who was he to judge?

As he walked down the steps of the porch of 28 Chimera Court, he lifted his guitar up and started to play as sad a song as he knew, and continued to play it as he wandered through the streets of Fandom, going no place in particular.

And El knew some very sad songs.

[[Open for interaction. He'll be wandering around the whole town, so feel free to run into him anywhere. No, he's not actually shirtless.]]

Hikaru was not in the mood to be at work today. The fight with Kaoru was making him restless and he paced the store. He wasn't sure what he should do about it, if he should solve it and talk to him or...get back at Kaoru? He hadn't told him anything for two weeks! Everytime he was at work or in class was something going on that he hadn't known about?!
Then it dawned on him: if Kaoru was going to go to Homecoming, he should too. The problem was obviously trying to find someone. Who could he go with the wouldn't mind him constantly spying on Kaoru?

Emo and Goth had not taken the emoo well. They could probably be found in some dark corner, growing their own mushrooms and moaning loudly about their worthlessness and the imminent destruction of the world.

Sparky's is dysfunctionally open~

Cafe Fina?

Cafe Fina was not open for lunch today.

The entire kitchen staff was sitting around talking about how terrible things are and how they're all incredibly useless and how they're dreams have all failed since they're working in a restraunt in a small town in the middle of Virginia.

Fortunately, Alfred was highly skilled in the art of dealing with the ludicrously emo. He had LOOOOOOOOOOOTS of experience with it.

He works for Batman, after all.

He'll have them up and running for dinner.

Sister Rosette stood at the graveyard gate, leaning on one of the pillars of the stone arch and watching Chrono wandering among the tombstones with a deep frown. "Come on, Chrono, stop all this," she said, gripping an umbrella over her shoulder. It wasn't raining yet, but it certainly did seem like it could start at any time. And she didn't know how long she'd be at this. "Come inside, please. I've already put locks on all the crypts; you're not slinking into them."

Chrono didn't respond. Just kept drifting, drifting, head lowered, face pale and wan. Rosette sighed. She hadn't seen him like this in years...what had happened to make him behave like he had....before? It was like they were back in Michigan, back when she and Joshua first found him. He just kept...drifting. Occationally, his hands would drift up to his head, just behind the temples, and let out something like a sob. Each time he did that, Rosette cringed, like she was being stabbed.

"Oh, Chrono...Please...."

He had to relapse while she had a terrible headache from last night, didn't he? Occationally, she glanced over her shoulder, to see if anyone might want anything. She had no intention of leaving Chrono when he was like this. If anyone needed anything, they could handle it themselves...

She stamped her foot on the ground. "Chrono! God dammit! Don't make me come over there and kick your ass!"

He just glared at her; she sighed, leaning back against the pillar. "Stupid demon..."she muttered to herself, "Oh, boo hoo, eternity in misery, blah blah blah. At least he's had more than thirty years..."

[[ open and emo; though, if you show up after John, you'll be dealing with just the emo demon. ]]

After a brief stop at Sparky's, Ranma and Setsuna walk in the store and Setsuna closes the umbrella, obviously careful to let no water drip from it onto her skin.

//"Okay Ranma... I guess you have to find things to try on... right?"//

//"Yeah.."//

He fidgets, searching through racks gingerly.

((open if you... need a dress or anything else for homecoming?))

Greg bounded into Caritas to start his shift, and idly wondered why Tino was complaining about chocolate milk under his breath.

He had a quick talk with the zombies about how there would be another band in Caritas tonight, and then set up what he could for said band.

Then he affixed a little sign outside Caritas:

TEAL DEAR: LIVE!
(drinks still full cost, though. sorry.)

He thought that was a pretty good sign, really.

[I'm around, though sleepy, so you might be better off modding Tino if you're just here to see the band. :D]
