Millie opened the store quite cheerfully and got everything ready for any customers.  Then she sat back and watched as Proudfoot played with the two napkin mice - very gently - before curling up with them.

Today, Tannim had his sketchpad with him and was trying to recreate the latest 9th Wonder cover freehand.

The Magic Box was open.

Johnny sat at a small table near an open window, staring out while he enjoyed his first cup of coffee. Many, many things were playing about through his mind, and he wanted nothing more than the quietness of the morning to help clear the more troubling ones away.

Not that he was too terribly troubled. Really.

(ooc: Johnny's just chillin'; the Perk is open for any and all Perkish needs..)

Mary's back at the front desk today. She's still trying to make sense of the conversation she had with Jillian Deline the other night. The only conclusion she's come to is that Fandom really doesn't exist on the same plane of existence as the Las Vegas that she comes from. Or Las Vegas doesn't really exist on the same plane of existence as Fandom. Either way, it's not making sense without any caffeine and Gunther is insisting that his cucumber sandwiches can only be paired with chamomile tea.

Maybe she can bribe someone into getting her real coffee.

[OOC: Open for any hotel business]

Charlie got in a little late this morning, after sleeping in after last night's date with Johnny. She had her notebook along again, and was trying to figure out how Bobbi and Michael met in the first place.

But right now, she's dancing dorkily to AC/DC and You Shook Me All Night Long.

The kittens might wait on you if you need help.

Neil was standing behind the bar looking a bit perplexed. Firstly he couldn't really figure out what logic lay behind the way the bottles were organized and secondly the place was already spotless.

Giving a good natured little shrug, he grabbed the mop and bucket and headed out to clean and wax the dance floor.

[ooc: A wee early but with LJ being flakey I don't want to take chances!]

Phoebe was on a stool behind the bar. She had taped the zombies back together with Tino and now was behind the bar. She was stubbornly determined to do her job, and it didn't seem like she would be convinced otherwise.

Luke's Diner, Thursday

So far, Thursday hadn't sucked. Actually, Thursday had been kinda nice. What with the wakeup call he got and everything. Mmm, that was one heck of a wake-up call.

Now, Jude was at work and totally not doodling plans for a bad-news-bomb shelter on a napkin in between kebabs. Really. Nor was he talking to a slightly bedraggled chocobo plushie.

The specials board had been amended with a note:

FREE MILKSHAKE FOR ANYONE WITH GOOD NEWS

Sokka whistled happily as he opened the post office (on time! I swear!) this morning. Last night's raid on the ninja fortress had gone pretty well. Not perfectly, but pretty well. He had been seen, but he had gotten away with the prize. And successfully avoided being in the room for mansmex.

Out of the armful of scrolls he had grabbed, two were ones he was supposed to have gotten. The rest... weren't. And they were covered in writing that hurt his head to look at, because it was so similar to and yet so different from real writing.

So today at the post office? He swiped one of the cardboard boxes for sale and started packing the superfluous scrolls into it. And keeping Not Tiddles out of it. And then sealing it with about a roll of duct tape. And addressing it to Professor Yondaime.

And, of course, being there in case anyone wanted to buy stamps (Or boxes, envelopes, tape, stationery, etc.! The post office has lots of things for sale!) or mail letters.

The post office was open!

[OCD on its way, special delivery OCD'z in ur hows delivrin ur pakkajez!]

Yet another night in the graveyard finds Mel and Willow patrolling.

Since there are no vampires in Fandom, it's really just an excercise in futility but it's good to remain in practice.

Plus Mel can try and get a new nickname for English Peter going.

"Seriously. At the campfire last night I called Peter 'Sweetie Petey' and he seemed to like it."

Aly wandered out to the Park in response to the handwavy note she received.

This really, really better not be Wade's idea of a prank.  She so owed him.  About ten times worth.
