Andrew was planning to spend his shift thumbing through some of the books in the store. He also spent a while staring longingly at some of the more interesting books Mr. Giles kept locked up.

In an case, he was ready to assist Fandom with all their magical purchases.

Mary was back at the front desk today, still not wanting to talk about her little trip to the mainland. Gunther was in and out of the lobby setting up for lunch, and whenever he left, Mary started going through the contents of the mysterious briefcase she brought back with her.

Johnny didn't make it to Caritas last night bad lj bad. He wasn't feeling that great and turned in early. So here he was this morning, at work, in his suit ready to try and pick up any chicks if they happened to come in. Time was running out and he had to get this homework assignment done. Maaan!

(ooc: Chicks, he will try to pick you up if you come in. Let me know ooc-ly if that is cool, yo.)

Chris set out the refreshments for any patrons who stopped by and then settled in with a few books behind the counter.

They were totally not books with advice on dating.

Really.

If anyone happened to really look, they would see Chris enthralled by an enormous biography of Benjamin Franklin.

After yesterday's workshop Dale was suffering from having water stuck in his ear. While it didn't ruin his efficiency for doing paperwork, he would occasionally get up from his desk and try to shake his head in order to get the water out of his ear. Alternatively he would also insert his pinky into his ear and wiggle it in order to try and release the fluid.

Despite his best efforts the water remained.

At least the trooper were amused by his efforts.

Bart needed to make up for doing nothing razzum frazzum LJ last night but finish the Stereotypical Italian Plumber game. The second one.

So, he was arranging furniture. And shuffling the food around. Because the cheese and milk deserved to be together.

Today's Squishy flavors: Annoyance, Refreshing, Red.

Because LJ hated yesterday and wouldn't let it be posted... )

Due to reason A.J. really couldn't understand, his plans to hit up Caritas last night to do his Awesome homework had fallen through. He was running out of time, but he figured he could sort of be...better with time, maybe, if he went there tonight, in addition to trying to take care of this at work.

Which was why, in his nice suit, A.J. was probably be sharpest looking diner counter jockey to ever rock a three-piece. Even if he had to be extra careful with the cooks and the grease and the...aw, heck, he was trying to get the cooks to do almost everything, just in case.

And he was pretty proud of where he hid the camera, too.

Luke's is open (and classy...save for the secret voyeurism).

[[ curse you, LJ! *shakes fist* you should know the drill by now; A.J. has to try picking up a chick for class and film it. The hiding spot is so good that even I don't know where it is (feel free to mod it, noticing it, whatever), and, of course, please include an OOC note in your tag if your girl wouldn't mind a little extra cheeeeeeeese with her burger ]]

Just before dusk, the temporary movie screen is set up. There's a large open area in front of it, where movie-goers can spread out blankets or set up lawn chairs, and of course the tarps and awnings are out to protect everyone from any wet weather. Some people are already gathered, picnicking while the sun sets.

[OOC: The movie begins at dusk, and the screen will be removed afterwards. OCD threads will be are set up for your movie-going use. Anyone who needs the park for other purposes will find that the outdoor cinema takes up only a portion of the park, with plenty of space available for non-movie needs.]

Annette brought Angel to the beach with her at Chad's suggestion that his cat and her cat might have fun too. She spread a beach towel, put up a small umbrella, and brought along other necessary beach items that included a frisbee and a football.

She didn't think about bringing a cooler; she wouldn't have been able to carry it anyway.

Anyhow, she was here and waiting for Chad.

(The beach is open for all your beach like needs!)

Jaina got to the bar on time, set up, and proceeded to pour herself a Coke while she waited for people to show up.

"What?" she asked when she caught one of the zombies watching her. "No one said I couldn't."

It wasn't Aziraphale's normal night at the Nest, but he'd gotten a handwavy call asking him to fill in while the usual Wednesday night bartender continued to be kittenated. So after he and Wilson left their date at Movies in the Park, the angel headed over to open up the club.

He was most definitely in a peppier mood than the previous week, and his choice of drink specials reflected this.

Upon arrival into Fandom, Dolores Jane Umbridge's first thought was 'pitiful.' Her second thought was 'such an unfortunate waste of natural resources.' And, if you please, those were considered pleasant thoughts.

Things could have been much worse. And then she saw the school and realized things were much worse. Terribly so.

Dolores Jane Umbridge had never backed away from a challenge though. If she had, she would've never risen to the rank of Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, one Cornelius Fudge, and certainly would have never been appointed High Inquistor, and later, Headmaster of Hogwarts.

She was not impressed at all with the town's decor. Far too dour, lacking color and vigor. That would have to be fixed immediately. No self respecting person wants to walk through town and think of imminent death. There would need to be color. Quite a lot of it.

When she'd been approached about accepting the position as a temporary replacement for a rather eccentric school, she'd originally turned it down. Hogwarts needed her after all. Needed her to dispel the rumors of You Know Who's return, to discipline student who, for far too long, had been allowed to run rampant over the school administration and, most importantly, to restore respect and dignity to the Hogwarts name.

But, there'd come a time for a change. And, after seeing to the improvement of Hogwarts, had decided to take the job offer.

There would be changes. Quite a lot of them.

After all, temporary positions, often times, become permanent.

[Establishy. Meet your new temporary principal while Zoe's having a wee Winchester!]
