The baby was safely in her crib by his side (even if he was considering maybe adding some more security to said crib) and Cable was at the desk, leaning back in his chair (and considering maybe getting a new one, considering the levels of abuse this one had withstood) and trying to reprogram the chess computer on his laptop.

It gave him something to do that wasn't figuring out the baby's sleeping patterns, at any rate.

Romeo didn't feel like being at work today, both because he had all of Greece to explore and because he was still furious from the way the blond girl had talked to him at the picnic the day before. He wasn't some perverse sort, getting married had been her idea ...

He was not so much unpacking a shipment of bathing suits as slamming them onto the racks.

Pixie Dust was open, but you might not want to go in.

[OOC: I have no idea if I'll have regular Internet access at work today. If I do, I'll remove this note. If I don't, SP until after 7 EST.]

Today was the day. Kerrigan eyed the dropship with some apprehension. Today.

Running a hand through her hair, she reshouldered the bag on her shoulder for the umpteenth time upon approach. It was ready. It was fixed up. She had her armor, and her rifle, and she'd seen River off to graduation...

It didn't make this any easier. But-- she was needed. Yeah.

It would be an hour or so before she finally made the engines run, the sparks would pass from cable to cable and the ship would lift off, shuttling a fast wind across the junkyard as it forced itself into the sky.

For now, though, Kerrigan was here.

[ open, for anyone who wants to say goodbye to Kerrigan, or who has any business in the junkyard, yay ]

The Magic Box, Monday

Alex couldn't believe it. They were in Greece. Greece! Opening up the Magic Box with a bright smiled and loads of energy, Alex made sure the store looked presentable, before settling down behind the counter.

Once her shift was over, she was doing some shopping. Oh yes, lots of shopping and maybe, she'd meet a cute Greek boy, or two.

The Magic Box was open.

George Michael was at work. Melting chocolate, chopping nuts, enjoying the beautiful blue sky.

If he thought it was strange that the island was now in Greece, he didn't comment on it or really think anything of it.

Greece was nice, right? Why complain.

[I'm feeling lucky. No ocd again. I'm sickly so pings will be slow so it might be best if you mod your service.]

It was her last patrol in Fandom. After that it was over the causeway and then... whatever came next. She'd sent out a *handwavey* e-mail and left notes for various people to let them know if they wanted to see her off, that this would be the place for it.

Sitting on a gravestone, Mel took one last look around. Could someone really feel sentimental about a graveyard?

[Goodbye post for Mel. If you think you got notification then you did. Will be subject to bouts of AFK-ness throughout the day.]

So this whole accidental extended vacation thing was turning out to be a good thing after all. She'd gotten a free trip to Greece! So much for what Lacey had said to A.J. last week about not getting to travel much, huh?

. . . of course, now she was stressing out over the fact that she didn't have a passport. This, despite having been out of Canada for weeks now.

Today's Specials
Leek and Asparagus Frittata
Poutine

Luke's is open, and Lacey's so not going to compete with the local cuisine. At least not until she gets a chance to go out there and try it.

Mary was still very excited about being in the Greek islands. She couldn't wait to check out those beaches. Today, she used her time at the front desk to order a new swimsuit.

Before she came to Fandom, the furthest Renee had have gone from Gotham was to Central City for a prisoner transfer.

She stoop just outside the trooper station, fingers itching to grab a cigarette as she looked out toward the ocean and... Greece. Weird. Weirder than normal, even.

Book Haven, Monday

Seregil opened up the shop and put out some pastries and a pitcher of iced tea for any customers who wanted them.

Inspired by their new location, he pulled a number of books about Greece and Greek history to peruse during his shift. Perhaps a trip offisland would be a good way to spend tomorrow.

The Book Haven was open.

It was Cinco de Mayo. This was a very important day, not only because it was Cinco de Mayo, but Cinco de Mayo was also Pippi's birthday, which was still a holiday celebrated fiercely by Chad. He was there today at the store with his mariachi jacket on, musing on bothering Brooke to see if she could design and make a little matching mariachi jacket for Prince Oscar Pedro.

In celebration of the holidays, any Mexican or Swedish imports were on sale for half off.

Today's mix was a bunch of mariachi music, of course, with some ABBA thrown in.

Groovy Tunes was open for a happy Cinco de Mayo Pippi Day!

For once, Jolee had absolutely no idea what to make of the situation at the bar.

Tino was dressed all in black with his face painted white. The zombies were in a similar situation, only it was their own regular filthy tatters of clothing (close enough to black) and paint was seemingly just splashed at their faces. They were miming playing their instruments. Tino was miming mixing drinks.

For his part, Jolee made sure that none of them were allowed near the garbage. After all, a mime was a terrible thing to waste.

[OOC: I'm around!]

Hoshi was racing down the causeway with an oversized, overstuffed backpack on her way to the harbor. The ferry would be leaving Santorini this evening and getting into Rhodes harbor late tomorrow morning. She still couldn't believe she was doing something this impulsive, jumping on a ferry and visiting some Greek island with a local boy she only met yesterday.

It all depended on her getting to the ferry on time, though.

[Open, if anyone wants to see her off!]

Naomi came in to work on time and set up for her shift.

Sparky's is open.
