"Diane, I'm holding in my hand a large grapefruit. There are more citrus fruit like it everywhere in the office. In my desk drawers. In my filing cabinet. I even found an orage in the coffee maker.

At least it wasn't a fish."

The police station is open for business.

And is also providing free grapefruits.

Fraser was, again, very grateful for the lack of purple rain and the lack of being a girl. He noticed the start of things being built as soon as he made his way out to the job site this morning.

"Good morning," he greeted all those that were there. "To continue on with what Mr. Harris started on Monday, we're going to continue the building process. Hard hats, please, and safety first, of course."

He nodded to the framework. "We're getting there and I thank you for all your help thus far."

Being that Mr. Giles was away, Andrew decided to take the day and do a few managerial tasks. He pulled out a couple of large, dusty books from under the counter and plopped them down with a thunk. Upon opening the first one, Andrew was confronted with columns of numbers and dollar amounts. He frowned. The last entry was dated clear back in April.

"Time to cook the books," he mummbled, grabbing a pencil and setting about his task. He had no clue what he was doing.

The Magic Box was open!

Ino was… rather mutinous really when she showed up to work. She’d much rather be flying, but no, she couldn’t now.

Stupid work.

As she went about tidying up the store though her mood started to improve, and by the time she flipped the sign to Open, Ino was giggling.

What was with all the fruit everywhere? Seriously.

“I’m blaming Liir,” she told the drawer full of oranges. “Because, come on, honestly.”

Wellspring Arms is Open.

Teyla had been very pleased to discover that the faucets had gone back to producing water, so she could start her day with a good cup of tea. She hoped that the madness that had seemingly taken over had ended for a little while. Then she went to open the shop, and found the lemons. Everywhere.

With a sign, Teyla began to gather everything up, and let her thoughts turn to what she could cook with lemons instead.

[Open! OCD-free today because I am teh lazy.]

Oranges everwhere. Not just in her room, but everywhere. Amber kind of giggled when she saw Apu slicing up some and squeezing them to make orange juice.

"Hey, Apu," she said. "Why did the orange stop rollin' down the hill?"

He cocked his head, orange poised in the air. Yeah, he didn't know.

"It ran out of juice," she giggled.

"Hey, Amber," Apu said. "Why did the blonde stare at a can of frozen orange juice for two hours?"

"Uhh..."

"Because it said concentrate."

Okay, Amber had to laugh at that one. But she didn't let it slide, she picked up an orange and threw it at him.

Thus ensued a sticky, juicy, orange mess.

Ooops?

Today's Squishy flavors: Orange Sherbert, Grape Judas, Peanut Butter

Romeo had slept in that morning, and, through the grace of god or good genes, had managed to avoid what should have been an impressive hangover after a day of taking full advantage of the island's sudden free booze policy.

Mostly. He was still turning a little green when he thought about the idea of ice cream with chunky stuff in it. But he'd agreed to meet his girlfriend for an ice cream date, and so he would bear up and just not look at that portion of the case.

He just hoped the clerk wouldn't start singing.

[OOC: For one, but open. Up early for SP.]

It was gloriously warm again. Hannibal liked this place so much better than damned Antarctica. He was not made for snowsuits and boots that choked his ankles.

And he was not made to think about clothing like that, damned Deadpool's class.

Anyway, since his class was done for the day, he was taking full advantage of the warm weather by laying out on the beach, shirt off, sunglasses on and comfortably situated on a dark towel.

There was an orange next to his head and Hannibal had stopped questioning that after more oranges had appeared in his drawers this morning. Weird weird island.

But warm island. Mmm, sun.

Liir was rather perplexed by all the citrus fruits.

For one, they tasted like actual citrus fruits. That had been his first test, the first thing he'd tried. It had also been a very good breakfast.

Then he'd tried to figure out when he might have picked up enough information to make other citrus fruits. Because it wasn't as if it was out of the realm for him to do magic while not meaning to. He'd done it while asleep before.

As it was, though, he just decided not to think too much about it and made sure to use today's bounty towards some delicious food.

The orange had started appearing once Jeff left the dorms. They had followed him (and Nana) all the way down to the hotel, where they kept on stacking until he could barely see. Jeff, being Jeff, gave in to his fate.

He dug a litle hole in so his head sort of popped out above the oranges, leaning his chin on the stack. He sighed.

In the corner, Nana used one for a chew toy.

Gabriel had returned from somewhere, and so had Cat. The latter had brought a dead bird, the former a box of donuts. The church was filled with the smell of coffee.

Okay, so there were freakin' limes and oranges and all that jammed into the cupboards and drawers. What the --

"Did you do this?" Faith asked Tino. He didn't answer. Unless stinkeye counted as an answer. Maybe it did.

Fine, good night for a special.

Half-off frou-frou college-girl citrusy drinks

Might as well use up some of the fruit.

Caritas. Open.

Naomi arrived to work on time. Once she had made sure that everything was organized properly before she opened the store, she sat down at the desk and started to read some of her data PADDs while she waited to see if anyone needed her help.

Stark Industries is open.
