Ah, Sunday.

Lazy Sundays were as good a day as any to to go work. To go to work, and to amuse the rest of the staff by allowing them to make whatever they wanted with the cooking alcohol, and then beating them all to the punch with well-aimed fireballs of his own before they could reach for the matches.

He had the sneaking suspicion that the dishes were adding alcohol to everything today, just to see how well certain things would burn.

He was fine with that.

Banana Flambé over Ice Cream

Chances were, if you ordered anything today, it would be served with flaming alcohol on it.

Strokes of Genius Sunday 9/14

After a long day of stocking yesterday, Ammy was taking a well deserved rest on the outside stoop of their new store. Issun remained nearby; alert and bored. He hopped up and down waiting for someone to come along to talk to. Or to sell art supplies to. Or to flirt with. But mostly the last one.

He then remembered their promise to turn in art to the pretty lady at the art gallery. What was her name again? Charlotte. Right? With that in mind he got out some paper to make her a lovely painting. But as he worked he wondered if this was a contest and if they might win and get some extra cash. It was motivation to make this one quite the masterpiece.

Biff--this time in a t-shirt with hang-gliding Jesus on it (because what wouldn't Jesus do?)--sat in a chair in the Wellspring Arms and read a copy of the New Testament.

Every now and then he'd snort, roll his eyes, and scribble something in the margins.

When Barney arrived, he made certain the sign was still in the window, beckoning new employees to come and work in the best gym around.

Instead of hiding out in his office, Barney sat up at the desk with the redhead NPC cycling instructor and talked scheduling. So, while the redhead was blathering on about her life and needs, he was sending cute texts to his fiance's phone.

Caritas - Sunday evening [Open]

Caritas was open and there was still a brightly lit sign indicating that help was wanted. That help was wanted by Jolee Bindo, the owner of the bar, who was sitting there tolerating Tino (a bartender) and listening to music by the Zombie Band (a band of zombies). Hilarity was, as always, ensuing.

Stark Industries [Sunday]

Sam staggered into Stark Industries on Sunday morning, under the weight of the groceries. Once those were dumped properly stored upstairs, he started wandering around, poking at stuff, since hey, the boss didn't seem to be here and what was the AI actually going to do, anyway?

Sam was kind of dim.

But Stark Industries was open!

The York Gallery; Sunday [ 09/14 ]

It was the final day before the gallery shut down in preparation for the new exhibit and, as such, the final day for pieces to be submitted. Charlotte was busy at work in the actual gallery, going through the submissions so far with a clipboard to meticulously keep track of each one so that she could start planning the layout of the show. She'd always love to see more entries, but she had to admit, if she got the whole thing planned out and then something came in to throw it all off, she might just have to pout a lot about it.

And she changed all the signs on the windows, as well, to one more applicable:
