Medusalith had woken up this morning still sans her lady parts and most of her hair. The penis was not an adequate substitution. Still, she had responsibilities to fulfill, so she was at the gallery. Hiding behind what was left of her hair and sulking, but at the gallery.

There was a no doubt charming new display, which Medusalith would care about more when the universe saw fit to give her her hair back. The gallery was open.

Let it be known that if Lacey had woken up yesterday to a noticeable drastic change of anatomical assets, she'd have deemed today completely and totally spoiled. But she hadn't, and a lot of the people who'd gone on the trip had come back looking different from usual, as did her kitchen staff, and Lacey . . . was finding her sense of unaffected smugness stymied by the feeling of being left out. Again.

Yes, that was an incredibly sad reaction to have to the whole thing. She was perfectly aware of that, thank you, which was why the planters (the veggies still looked healthy; yay for small favors) were getting an extra-vigorous tending job.

They could get extra sunlight today, reflected off the aggressively-polished counter surfaces, too.

Luke's is open, and this is perfectly normal, thank you, why would you think otherwise?!?

[OOC: OCD went wherever Lacey's genderswap did. Mwahaha.]

Normally, this should be over by now.

Ender was slightly puzzled to wake up to find he still had a pair of breasts and, supposedly, an extra x-chromosome, but he hadn't panicked much. Maybe Fandom had finally lost it and gone permanent on these things, in which case it would be a lot easier for him to go incognito back home in the future. Maybe it was just lasting a little longer. Maybe there was going to be some epic quest to turn them all back.

Whatever it was, work still had to be done.

Though it had to be noted that he wasn't much amused by the fact that the store chose that day to start leaving melons everywhere.

Angua knew it would be wishful thinking and blind optimism to think she'd be better in the morning, but that didn't stop her from hoping and feeling a stab of disappointment at still being male. At least, though, she figured, when she did turn back to normal, she'd actually feel less hairy for a change, because grooming right now was even more time-consuming that during the full moon.

Gods, let this be over before the full moon...

She contemplated calling in; Vimes would understand. But that felt too much like accepting this as a thing and she didn't want that and what would she do all day, anyway? It wasn't that different and, sure, she'd be without her armour because it didn't exactly fit her right, and it would be just another day.

Of course, those were all thoughts Angua had before coming in and seeing the troopers.

"That doesn't even look effective! What, you want we should go add some poles to training area, too?"

The boy thing hadn't gone away overnight.

It hadn't gone away.

Quinn was going to stab whoever was responsible. Slowly, and possibly with a knife covered in acid. But for now, she still had to be at work. She dressed in Puck's clothes and sat behind the desk, flipping through Vogue and probably giving a death glare to anyone unfortunate enough to cross her path.

Even the specials menu seemed to be mocking her.

Jake had not unexpectedly changed genders yesterday, nor had he listened to the radio, so he had no idea that anything was amiss. Mostly, he was just glad to be back in Fandom, and not stealing a dead guy's safe, or dealing with wanna-be rappers/juvenile delinquents (what kind of name was Wiggs Dinner, anyway?), or mixing up pretend drugs in his kitchen to hand over to creepy Russian drug dealers.

Anyway, he was updating Tino on his vacation exploits today. Tino... didn't really care.

[ooc: up early if anyone needs it for genderswitched shenanigans + work hates me. mod tino till 6ish PST.]

Zatanna was still a girl.

She was pretty glad about this.

However, the fact that quite a lot of the students -and teachers, oh my gosh- were not on their right gender was rather...worrying. It was also incredibly hilarious, but she had decided not to say a thing, considering that the way Fandom handled karma might make her end up as a boy, or even worst, some sort of small, fluffy animal. And nobody wanted to see a psychotic white bunny.

That left her with opening the store and hoping to be able of telling just who was who if she ended up attending someone. And not to laugh, sure.

Today's Squishy flavors: Chage Is Good, Gender Bender, Red.

From the radio broadcast the night before, and seeing that people were still not back to themselves this morning, Leia knew that her daughter was now a son and her nephew was now a niece, which gave her no small amount of glee despite the grimness of her latest trip home. And, of course, either her father or Rory or both had swapped since "flipping out" had been reported by the squirrels.

It was for her father she now waited at the Perk, anxious to talk to him about what she'd found out. And, of course, to see what he looked like today.

[Expecting Dad "Mom," but open Perk is open!]

So. Claudia was still a boy. That was no reason to freak out. Sure, she didn't have that many clothes that would still fit her in a boy body and she had no idea how her social worker would react to finding her like this*. But this was a Fandom thing. She was sure it would go away at some point.

It had to, right?

Anyway. Either way, she figured she ought to show up for work. So here she was.

Book Haven was open.

* by rolling her eyes and sending someone to check if Joan of Arc's breast plate had gone missing.

Dani was not pleased to wake up this morning and find that she was still a Daniel. She also had two days worth of stubble to deal with along with the other unwanted body parts. After staring in the mirror for a while, she decided that the shaving thing couldn't be that bad. She shaved her legs all the time, right?

If anyone came to The Gig today, they'd find Dani hiding in the office, trying to hide and hoping that all the cuts on her face healed when she changed back into her real self.

[Open, of course!]

There was some sort of witchcraft going on where half the people were the wrong gender, and Makita was very thankful that it hadn't happened to her. Using the protocols were one thing, but magic? Like this? Strange happenings that did not come from a Priestess channeling the will of God? It made Makita's skin crawl.

To cheer herself up, she'd started decorating for this 'Homecoming' dance she'd heard about, putting out some of the prettiest dresses and fancy suits. She'd already picked out her own outfit, but that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy trying on a few Western-style dresses.

Karla was a very, very, very upset young male today. Specifically, because she was still a young male today. She was supposed to have woken up back in her proper body this morning. But had not.

So here she was, brooding at 'Dite's about how much she really hated the island sometimes.

Welcome to Dite's. If you want good customer service, go elsewhere.

Alex opened up the shop, extremely pleased she was still herself. She had a stack of magazines to flip through. She had a Homecoming outfit to pick out, after all.

If you need her, feel free to ring the bell on the counter or, you know, just yell.

The Magic Box is open.
