Frank was less then impressed. He walked into the police station and noted that there seemed to be no one there. No one at the front desk, no one in the offices.

Frank was ex - CIA. Frank was ex- FBI. His current occupation, well... thier were alot of explanations about that, none of them user friendly.

But right now, all he knew was that a man he was rather fond of as a team mate was missing, and it didnt bode well for the people he had around him who he needed sane. He was angry. He was determined, and he never pulled punches.

And this sad little excuse for a police station was about to get a hell of a wake up call.

"Zombies, missing people all over the place.. and they dont even have desk staff?"

*shakes head and walks out, pulling out his cell phone"
*places a call*
Its Frank, get me the Director.

She slides out of bed, careful not to wake up the Doctor. Saturday morning, she thinks...a smile spreading across her face.

She climbs in the shower, and when she's done she pulls her wet hair back and pins it. She dresses quickly in her yoga pants and a tank top. Kissing his forehead lightly as she walks past the bed, she double checks that she has her key and her purse and heads out to go get some coffee...

OOC: CJ woke me up to play...come on, don't disappoint her!!

After putting up the flyer of the missing kid, Michael settles behind the counter. It had been pretty quiet at the store the past few days, so he pulls out his laptop and starts plotting out the next issue of his comic book, Rage.

Friday had been slow, but a midnight showing of a movie about transvestite rock stars seemed like a sure crowd-pleaser, so Mark is feeliong optimistic today.

The updated marquee now reads:

"MIRRORMASK" PG
1 P.M. * 4 P.M.* 7 P.M.* 10 P.M.
FRIDAY-SUNDAY
"HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH"
MIDNIGHT * TONIGHT ONLY

The "now hiring" sign is still taped to the box office.

After Kolchak has awoken on the cold wooden floor of his Printing Press in Town, he tries to rid himself of that horrible hangover headache that he acquired while falling into the floor with a loud thud the night before. Taking about 3 tylenols, he heads out to track down Paige and her boyfriend; for an apology on his part.

After asking around for a bit, he comes to find out that Paige was last seen at her boyfriends place and could still possibly be there. Suckering up all his manliness, he walks up to the door and knocks lightly.

Sebastian affixes a sign to the window of Pandora's Box before opening the shop. It reads:

Missing:

Last seen 9/29 wearing black jacket, blue jeans, light blue shirt.
If you have any information please tell the staff of this store, or contact Aphrodite's Apple at 555-8295.

Please help us. The Police will not respond.

We have nothing to give for a reward but our eternal gratitude.

Thank you for reading,

Sebastian turns the sign over to "open", and unlocks the doors.

Three motorcycles roared to a stop on the outskirts of town. Three figures surveyed the layout of streets and shops as the sleepy inhabitants roused to life on this lazy Saturday morning.

“It’s…small,” Yazoo said, his nose wrinkled in obvious distaste.

“It’s quiet,” Loz added his sentiment which bordered on sadistic interest.

Kadaj revved the engines and lifted the kickstand. “It’s perfect.”

Rogue looks distinctly uncomfortable--if it's even Rogue, that is. She's wearing a long, dark green hooded jacket that covers most of her body, and the hood is pulled up over her eyes. She knocks politely on the door, hoping to God no one sees her.

[[Mun is headed home, may be back on appx 7 US Central. If not, can we slowplay?]]

It's Saturday. And it's a beautiful day, so Boone decides to take a walk in to town. He hasn't really had a chance to explore the town, and he wnats to check out the tattoo parlor where Paige got her tattoo done. He's diasappointed to see that it's closed. Not that he'd ever get a tattoo, he wasn't big on pain, but he was curious.

Since the tattoo parlor was a bust, he thought he'd head over to the coffee shop or a resturant or...somewhere. He didn't expect to end up at the printingpress. he had no business there. And yet, there he was. He scratched his head as he went inside.

[Crossposted to the OOC list - sorry to people who get it on friendslists twice!]

[livejournal.com profile] fandomtownies is now going under a stricter regulation system. The fact that it's been wholly unregulated mostly since that section of the game began is really rather surprising and unfortunate, as it seems to be a greatly popular and fun thing for people to have.

Therefore, a few things are going to change.

    1. Those of you who play townies and are not on the list have exactly ONE WEEK to comment and place yourselves there. On October 8th, all townies not on that list (or the student or faculty list) will be removed from the community.

    2. As a decision between all of the mod-types, we're cutting down on the sex. Any more requests for prostitution-style businesses will be denied. This is a game primarily about a high school, and while the town is grand fun, there's enough sex going on already.

    3. The townies community is now locked. Soon enough, there will be a more standardized application process.

Feel free to ask me, [livejournal.com profile] jerusalem_s, [livejournal.com profile] principalconnor or [livejournal.com profile] dean_bristow anything else, if you need clarification on this issue.

I'm also accepting complaints for a limited time only.

The Magic Cupboard is open for business today. Devon MacLeish is sitting behind the counter reading a comic book.

The Magic Cupboard specialises in common items used for magick spells, and also carries a few rare items. The Magic Cupboard sells magic wands and staffs, and nearly anything someone versed and knowledgeable would know how to handle. There is a display case of ancient and more modern swords and other weaponry.

Many items can be special ordered.

There is a help wanted sign in the wondow.

[OOC: I'm having no luck finding Jason Hall/Devon pics or icons, so I'm considering giving him a new PB. Suggestions welcome. Also please note, the mun has limited knowledge of magicks and the sort of things The Magic Cupboard would sell. Bear with me.

Sonia enters Chaucer's, expecting to find the shop empty. Instead, she sees Chaucer, Paige, and a third girl she recognizes but doesn't know.

She gives them a sheepish smile as she sets her things down at her desk. I really do have the vurst timing.

"I'm...not interrupting anything, am I? Only I can come back later..."

Gandalf spent a great deal of time alone. Inside his office or dorm room, ignoring the various sounds and smells that wafted through the hallways, or outside, wondering the fields and the forests of the surrounding area. There is much to be found, much to speak to.

But tonight the wind howls with pain and loss and confusion, and I hunt out its small source. The stars all speak of lonliness and fear.

I approach slowly, cautiously. A wounded animal alone and afraid could strike out, and I fear that this one is more dangerous then he presumes.

I offer my hand, and hope that it is taken.

Janet stood just inside the door to The Old Firm, thinking hesitantly back to the voice mail she'd received and wondering if she was doing the right thing. She was tired, she was exhausted, and damn it, she hoped to god she didn't find Crazy Squid Lady anywhere tonight.
