Upon opening the diner today, Yitzhak was a little bit perplexed to find a serious dent in the napkin stock and a kitchen staff that was already irritated.

It was that second bit that irritated him more than the first, really; what fun was a pre-irritated kitchen staff?

So once he'd gotten everything unlocked, set up properly, and ready to go, he left the diner in his staff's hands and stalked off to find someone to annoy.

Luke's is open, but you might want to watch out for any lingering antagonism that Yitzhak left in his wake.

Okay, so maybe Turtle was thinking of going a little easier on Bart about the rearranging thing because, really, it could get pretty boring around the store. She sighed, putting the last card on her house of cards on the counter, which was staying up phenomenally well. It would probably come crashing down when the door opened, she realized, so she had a new project: gluing all the cards in place. A potentially good waste of a buck pack of cards, but she could afford a buck, really.

The glittery "Help Wanted" sign was firmly in place.

The Perk - Thursday Early Afternoon

After his initial meeting with the new Dean Umbridge Wilson was left with the strong desire to drink.

Unfortunately none of the bars were open -damn it Lucifer!- and so he was going to have to make do with a very strong espresso coffee.

Thus, he headed for the Perk, made his order and carried it over to a set of chairs by a window. Wearing a perplexed expression, he sipped on the strong beverage and tried to puzzle out if it was just him or if Umbridge was really as ... shall we say, prickly as she appeared.

He flicked on the microphone, spun around in his chair, and announced, "This be Barbossa, I be bored, so ye should call in wit' yer miserable problems 'n have me fix 'em. Or ask fer music."

It was the strangest thing. She couldn't say how or why, but when she got dressed this morning, Naminé found herself lingering on the paint-splattered dress from her Arts and Crafts class last term.

Ridiculous, Naminé decided. She wasn't going to show up for work in a ruined, stained, rainbow-colored ...
