Sam let himself into Stark Industries Sunday morning as per usual, carrying the week's groceries and wondering vaguely how he'd wound up an errand boy. At least he was a well-paid errand boy?

After he put the groceries away, he went back downstairs and sat down to read a magazine that may or may not have had his boss on the cover, because that was actually far more productive than anything he could have done involving the shop's actual projects.

Stark Industries was open.

In retrospect, Charlotte was thinking that perhaps, after his little display of his ability to hammer well, she should lightly pester Kevin into flexing those carpentry muscles to build something...anything...for the exhibit, especially since there had been no submissions yet. Sure, it was still a few days until the deadline, but she was a little paranoid polly and it made her flail a little bit. Maybe she should extend it, wait until next week to do the exhibit...

...The usual Sunday tea that was set out for guests was being constantly rearranged out of all of Charlotte's fidgeting.

The York Gallery is open!

Somehow, Warren had managed to work his winning charms on Kurogane yesterday in order to land himself a job at Cafe Fina, that swank restaurant in town that Warren had never been in, but it had always seemed like the inside was full of bustling and singing and energy.

And the menu was all fancy.

And there was that bouncing pork bun thing.

Warren wasn't going to entertain thoughts that perhaps he should have applied for a job at Ching Tai instead. A little variety on his resume would do him some good.

For whatever reason, the serving staff seemed rather nostalgic about being bossed around by a guy whose hands lit on fire whenever he got frustrated with them.

[OCD up, and Fina is open!]

It was Sunday again, and Gabriel wondered if the girl from last week was going to show up again. At least it had been amusing. He put the note on the door, as usual.
Do-it-yourself Sunday Service

Cat didn't look amused at all. Last Sunday had been noisy and she wanted her territory nice and quiet, thank you very much.

[The church is open]

Biff, wearing his favorite "Jesus Shaves" t-shirt, wandered into the Wellspring Arms and Meditation Center for his first day of work.

He'd even come prepared with a magazine devoted to yoga to flip through.

...that he was marking pages where the women looked especially good in Spandex was immaterial.

Facebook was evil. Just when Barney thought he was finished with things like Oregon Trail, he got sucked into this Make Me A Celebrity thing.

But damn if he wasn't going to get to the top. Besides, he was making a killing at Pile of Balls.

Heee! Balls!

Atlas Gym was open.

[We're ocd free today, whee!]

Sean was in a fairly cheerful mood as he did the work thing. The distinct lack of drunken skunks in his office probably had a large part to do with that. Not to mention, Savannah hadn't rearranged the store in ages -- or if she had, she'd put it all back.

Beware the cheerful owner.

[Wait for the OCD is up!]

Not at all late, really, Vala went into work, inspecting to see if there had been any damage from the hurricane, and sticking her nose into the fridge to see if any food had spoiled or if they'd lost power.

Everything seemed fine, so she sat down with a series of lists and magazines and notes about the wedding and waited to see if there would be any customers.

Rusty had definitely not gotten used to this place yet. It was beyond weird, but it was certainly interesting.

In a quest to find the best food on the island, he was currently seated at Jeff, God of Biscuits with a sandwich, chips and several pastries.

Was Jolee ready for some football? No. But Tino was. Tino kept trying to get Jolee to play paper football for him in celebration of the NFL season. Jolee declined. But he did let Tino listen to the games on headphones.

The HELP WANTED sign was still up. And Jolee put the Christmas lights around it just to make it stand out even more.

[OOC: I'm around, but may be distracted at points while trying to clean up a little.

We currently have openings on Wednesday and Saturday. Jolee's preference is for adults to fill the spots, but students will be accepted with some muttering. I personally have no preference. I just like having Jolee be less than entirely happy. :D

If you'd like a job, e-mail or IM me and/or talk to Jolee.

ETA: One slot filled! Preference is definitely for an adult now, but Jolee will settle for a student. If you e-mail me to tell me that you're going to app Marion Ravenwood, I will hold the Saturday spot while you app her.]

Walking Tether in the morning had quickly become part of Cable's routine, although to keep himself from being predictable, he'd been switching up his routes frequently. Today, his route led him straight through the park, leash firmly in hand, and a happy puppy bounding around by his feet.

He wasn't even on the phone, for once, although not for Irene's lack of trying.
