Loki was having an easy day today. He wasn't by the pool or behind his desk. He was, instead, in the comfy lobby seats, occasionally marking some things on the sheets of paper in his lap and listening to music on the uncomfortable (he so preferred headphones) iPod while he did it.

Sure, there were things that needed to be done around the apartment and he could have always gone to the mainland and tried to see Metatron but what fun was that when he could be lazy and make lesson plans?

Oh, fucking fuck, he was old.

Hinata yawned, covering her mouth demurely, and watching with amusement as Yei played with the small ball that Hinata had picked up the day before.

It was nice, that small things made her cat so happy. And her as well, Hinata supposed, as she was the one leaning over the counter to watch her play.

Covent Garden Flowers, Tuesday

It was very simply just one of those days, which meant, while Ino was smiling slightly, most of it came from how well her flower crown had turned out, and not so much her real mood. Okay, not entirely her real mood.

Cyclamen. Resignation and good-bye.

Lauristinus. Cheerful in Adversity.

Adjusting her crown, Ino settled in to fuss with her flowers. They didn't care what all was going on, and that was soothing. She almost hoped Edward came by today, if only for how horrifically distracting he was.

Fiona did her usual morning duties, watering the plant and dusting the shelves, before taking up her place behind the desk. Her mind wasn't on the work at all, but she forced herself to focus on the Jenner case, as one of her notes reminded her she was reasonably certain that she'd found a loophole in some of the case information which would allow certain testimony that previously would have been considered ineligible. She couldn't be sure until she started digging, though, and thus she got straight to work.

The troubles in the area around and at the borders of Rumekistan continued. Tuesday at the office saw him spending more time making phone calls to Irene Merryweather than doing any work that was strictly Fandom related. There were a few bad cases of insurgents looking to destabilize the region, and without a powerful symbolic figurehead, the government was struggling.

"Next elections, I think the people will throw their lot in with Gimez," he noted.

"Yeah," Irene sighed, "He's kind of a dick."

"'lections!" Jan called, and waved her hands around.

Anyone who came to rehearsal would notice the store-bought brace in Geoffrey's ankle, as well as the fact that he was hobbling around. Someone had missed a puddle of sludge and slipped in it this morning.

"Thank you very much, all of you, for your help last Thursday. Rest assured, that will not happen again, and we should be able to proceed with rehearsals sans mops. We're finishing the play up for the first time on stage today, so considering that, if anyone has any choreography experience, they really should talk to Tony."

He grinned and slapped his hands together.

"And now? Let's get this show on the road."

Adam had a lot on his mind as he opened the store. He was thinking about the future and what it might mean for him... as far as school and rangering went. He was going to need to makes some decisions in the near future.

Settling down behind the counter, Adam flipped through an issue of the Y-Men, hoping that might distract him for a bit.

The Gig, Tuesday [6/23]

Ellie groomed and fed the horses as soon as she showed up this morning. After letting them out into the paddock, she settled nearby with her cellphone and debated calling home again. Maybe her dad was home now? In the end, though, she decided not to call. She wasn't in the mood to be disappointed again.

She noticed Kally sticking her head over the fence and wandered over to pet her. It was as though the horse could sense Ellie wasn't exactly herself today.
