Lana showed up for her usual 10-12:30 shift and got the store ready to open. She wondered if any of the new kids would make their way down here today. Oh! And she also had lunch with Marie to look forward to. She smiled and settled herself in happily.

[OOC: Mun works till 3ish EST today so SP till after that.]

Another Monday morning, another quick, efficient opening of Town Hall. It's going to be a rather warm day and Braca finds himself grateful for the luxury of air conditioning.

The computer is an unknown to him and, because the day is quiet, Braca finds himself in a rather fierce online game of RISK with someone in Montana.

He's taking Switzerland if it kills him.

Maureen opened the store for the first time.

She's spent the last few days going over Lucas's records and finding an apartment in town... ironically handwavy renting it from a guy named Luke.

Now she was ready to start working and figuring out how to make Empire a successful business. She didn't know anything about running a business though. It couldn't be that hard though, right?

She stuck a Help Wanted sign in the window and got ready for the day.

[ooc: mun is working until around 5p EST and will be on slow play]

The Perk - Monday

After a night in a sleeping bag on the floor and scotch and tequilla mixed Wilson was in need of a shower and coffee.

The shower was taken care of at the apartment but in his small buying spree yesterday, he'd neglected to pick up a coffee pot or...well...coffee. Rubbing his hand over his face, he grabbed his wallet and the notepad where he was working on his lesson plans and headed on out the door.

He was quite pleased to find The Perk still open and busy as ever, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and perhaps even a scone, luring him straight to it's doors.

Aaahhh, coffee!

[ooc: Open for all your Monday morning coffee needs!]

Hawkeye was enjoying the evening as it cooled off. It just so happened that he'd managed to set a hammock up out front. It swayed gently in the breeze. Today had been busy with new kids and teachers coming in. The next week would be even more hectic. But for now, all he had to do was sit here and enjoy his hammock...and the straw that connected from his mouth to the bottle of pre-made goodness on his lap.

[OOC: For anyone, but especially anyone who wants a room. We still have a normal room and a basement room unclaimed.]

Chrono was such a good little demon. Not only did he, knowing that on her first day back, Rosette would get incredibly, ridiculously smashed at Caritas, stop by the bar to bring her home, but he already had lots and lots of strong, black coffee waiting for her when she woke up, and didn't even wait for instructions before he started to clean up after the week of disuse and tend to the little old ladies when they needed him. He even refused their request for some organ music.

Sister Rosette, meanwhile, was curved around her coffee in the sanctuary of a confessional, drinking as deeply as she could without getting nausious again. She was trying to figure out what she could blurrily remember from last night actually happened. Did she really talk about sex with a reverend? Or was that just some sort of unconscious brain thing because she missed Father Remington already?

She tried not to think about it too much. Made her head hurt.

[[ available for all your unholy needs; if you need Rosette, Chrono will just direct you to the confessional, so go ahead and step in. she might expect you to actually confess, though. Also, school started for me today, so I'll be slow, back and forth between breaks

Also? Inside the confessional is to always be NFB, pleaaase.]]

Cafe Fina, Monday

Wadsworth opened Cafe Fina as usual. There was quite an influx of new people, so he assumed there was a possibility that he and Walter might have new customers for the next few days.

The tablecloths were crisply white, the flower arrangements tasteful and generally non-allergenic, and the silverware gleaming. Everything ready for business.

[ooc: Please read about Cafe Fina and its special services. OCD threads up coming up momentarily.]

Having fixed the majority of the town in her mind, Aly lounged in the park with a what looked like a very old book and a cup  of coffee.

She wasn't reading though, just using it to mask her close observation of the passing people.

[OOC: Open as I don't think I can physically close a Park.  ;)  However, the conversation between Aly and Faithful is NFB.]

Jude and Setsuna stood at one end of the causeway, Jude holding his board and wearing a very odd looking harness. Half of it - the half he was actually wearing - looked like a skydiver's harness. The other half - the half he was holding in his hand - looked like water-skiing handle.

Oh, this could only go well.

He handed that end to his girlfriend with a smile. "Ready for this, bra?"

[[Yep, they're training. Feel free to come point and laugh.]]

Marie and Lana had made handwavy plans to meet at the pizza place for lunch for a belated birthday celebration.

Marie had gone out this morning to pick up a birthday card and was sipping a glass of water, waiting for Lana to arrive.

[ooc: Marie is here for Lana, but open for all your pizza needs!]

After a full day of packing boxes and cleaning out garbage (which was definitely a new experience for Jarod, who had never had things before), Jarod was happy to be back behind the bar again.

Hopefully there'd be less hitting tonight, though.
